Alexander Quine

and

Jessica Armstrong

June 12 - 14, 2026

"Rosebud" @ 19693 CA Highway 49, Nevada City, CA 95959

How it Started...

A Fateful Trip to the Desert...

On an intuitive whim, Jessica attended her first Burning Man in 2013. She met Alexander, who was attending his fourth Burning Man, when fate assigned them to ride together in his vehicle to Black Rock City, NV. Their connection was undeniable, but geographical distance meant their beginning was a Slow Burn... While at their third visit together to That Thing In The Desert, as they watched art burn from atop the beloved Pilot Fish art car, they shared their first kiss. *Swoon* Ten years later - almost to the day! - on August 28, 2025, they shared their first kiss as a married couple in Black Rock City, NV at an epic Burning Man ceremony. You are graciously invited to join them to celebrate their marriage at Rosebud Ranch in Nevada City, CA during the weekend of June 12 - 14, 2026!

We Tied The Knot!

The Burning Man Wedding

We were married on August 28, 2025 at a neon temple called The Afterlife Reincarnate in Black Rock City, NV. Some of you dear ones were there to celebrate with us! And of course, given the challenges of traveling to Black Rock Desert/living in Black Rock City for the week it exists - plus other reasons - many of you could not be there with us in person. The Wedding: We were married inside of a rainbow!!! Seriously, there was a rainbow on the way to ceremony. It was magical! The weather was perfect! We had an art car limo! Friends gifted songs, including a meow solo with audience participation!! We tied the knot in a hand fasting ceremony using a ceremonial rainbow ratchet strap!! We walked the red carpet and had our first impromptu dance as the sun set. It was incredible. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to celebrate our union with you in California in June, 2026!! Can't wait to do it all again!

Round Two... at Rosebud Ranch

Special Land with Special Friends

Our dear friends Mikey, Hazel Grace, Nico, Lauren, and others, have graciously shared their beautiful, sacred land at Rosebud Ranch for us to enjoy for this celebration. We are grateful to gather with you all at this special place. You are invited to stay with us on-site or you may choose to stay in other lodging nearby. We invite you to express yourselves for the ceremony weekend by wearing your favorite funky formal fun frocks! Think bright colors, feathers, sparkles, party and festival clothes! Whatever makes you feel and look great will be just exactly perfect! We will honor Rosebud Ranch by leaving no trace, taking care of the land, the critters, and each other. Fun Fact: our kitties, Isiris (aka "Miss Morsel") and Köfte (aka "Mr. Meatball") were born at Rosebud in July, 2024! Their mom, Mama Cat, and sister, Purl Grey, still live there!

Lodging at Rosebud Ranch

Camping on site!

Camping with tents, cars, RVs and trailers are options to stay on site! No charge to stay at Rosebud. There are bathrooms, showers, and a community kitchen for those staying onsite. There are not full RV hookups though. The vibe is going to be more on the rustic/festival side of things. Think Leave No Trace. We are requesting for our local friends to please bring extra camping gear (tents, sleeping pads, camp chairs, pillows and blankets, etc.) to share with our friends traveling from afar who want to stay onsite! Temperatures in Nevada City in June average low 80s in the daytime, and drop to mid 50s at night. So bring things to be cool during the day and layers for night! Plus fun party and play clothes for the festivites!

Lodging Off-Site

Hotels and Airbnbs available in Nevada City and Grass Valley

For those who want more amenities and less of the rustic, camping festival vibes, there are lots of options in Nevada City and in the nearby town of Grass Valley. We recommend booking these options sooner than later since they are starting to fill up! Check out the Travel & Lodging page on this site for some options we found for the weekend to help your search. We have posted some hotels and Airbnbs in Nevada City that had availability at time of posting. We will keep an eye on them as it gets closer to update and remove the places that are booked! As you make plans, let us know where you are staying - we may be able to connect you with others for carpooling back and forth!
