Airport Recommendations

• Charles M. Schulz- Sonoma County Airport (STS) (Domestic Only) 22 miles north of Glen Ellen. It's by far the easiest airport (it's Snoopy's airport after all) for travel. If this airport is an option for you, do it! Note: Direct, cheap flights from Portland. • Oakland International Airport (OAK) 56 miles south of Sonoma plaza and 62 miles south of the venue in Glen Ellen. It's usually easier to navigate than SFO and about the same distance. • San Francisco International Airport (SFO) 56 miles south of Sonoma Plaza and 62 miles south the venue in Glen Ellen. It is usually the most challenging to navigate and the same distance as Oakland Airport (but coming from SFO, you get to go through the city of SF and over the Golden Gate Bridge).

El Pueblo Inn (w/ Pool) - Sonoma

This motel can be a tad bit more budget friendly if booked early enough and it has a pool. It's located 1 mile east of Sonoma Plaza (Sonoma's center). We've had family who stayed here and liked it.

Sonoma Creek Inn - Sonoma (No Pool But More Budget Friendly)

It's in "the springs" area of Sonoma.

No pool but very walkable and our friends give it the thumbs up.

The Jack London Lodge w/ a Pool - Glen Ellen

This lodge and saloon (our wedding venue) is located in the tiny hamlet of Glen Ellen, 15 minutes North of the Sonoma Plaza. Yes, it has an outdoor pool! Some rooms have been recently renovated but others haven't. It's on the spendy side during high season.

Shuttles: •MSN Door to Door Airport Shuttle •North Bay Airport Shuttle (Door to Door) •Groome Transportation (Budget-friendly but not door-to-door) Ride shares: As a small town, our ride share availability is unpredictable (more Ubers than Lyfts) so plan accordingly for events. Sonoma Taxi service - you can make reservations for rides by calling (707) 889-1266 but it's very unreliable so have a backup plan. www.sonomataxi.net Local Buses (Note times the bus ends especially on the weekend as it's early): https://sctransit.com/maps-schedules/ Buses: 30 30X 62 (from Santa Rosa Airport)
