The Wedding Website of Jessica Perritt and Duncan McLaurin
Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us and why.

Brandi Wagner

Matron of Honor

Brandi & the bride have been best friends since kindergarten and were inseparable as teenagers. There were many summer nights spent talking in her grandmother’s gazebo, swinging in the hammock and listening to the crickets sing until sunrise. From dance classes as little girls to staying out past curfew as teens, their bond has remained strong throughout every stage of life including adulthood. Jessica is now the proud God Mother of Brandi’s two children Avery & Allie Wagner, who she loves very dearly.

Emma Wigley

Maid of Honor

Emma is the little sister of the bride. She makes Jessica laugh harder than anyone else in the world. Although they are sixteen years apart, she has been the sweetest blessing of her life. They share a sibling bond like no other & she keeps Jessica young at heart! Their favorite thing to do together is ride around listening to music while singing their hearts out and watching cartoons.

Alexis Williams

Bridesmaid

Alexis is the niece of the bride and has a heart of gold. They enjoy going to Starbucks & fun outings together such as shopping trips and going to the beach! Alexis helps to keep her mother Kristin’s (late sister of the bride) memory alive.

Ashley Rios

Bridesmaid

Ashley & Jessica unexpectedly became best friends while attending college. After the bride was involved in a car accident totaling her vehicle, she needed a ride to school. Not sure what else to do, she messaged her classmate Ashley. Long story short, ever since that ride to school they have been best friends! They love to laugh & joke, run errands together and talk on the phone every day.

Amy Roberts

Bridesmaid

Amy is the cousin of the bride & childhood best friend! Though they typically only get to see one another on holidays these days, their fondest memories together are all the summers they spent swimming in the pool and going on their yearly family beach trips.

Courtney Burley

Bridesmaid

Courtney is the happiest human you will ever meet & unlike the bride, is an early riser! When on girls trips Courtney is always nice enough to bring Jessica breakfast in bed, allowing her to sleep in a little longer. When they are not traveling far and wide, they enjoy discovering new rooftop restaurants in Atlanta, dabbling in arts n' crafts, and going to events!

Brandi Leichmann

Bridesmaid

Initially, Brandi & Jessica were work colleagues in Lawrenceville, Georgia. From there, lunch outings turned into girls nights out and traveling with Courtney! Their next girls trip is scheduled in September of 2024 to.. Brazil! By the time the bride & groom get married, there is a high probability that another girls trip has made it out of the group chat. Fun Fact: Brandi & her husband Markus who are avid divers inspired Jessica to obtain her scuba diving certification!

Elizabeth Eubanks

In Loving Memory

Some friendships naturally occur due to a parent’s social circle. That was the case for these two. Both their mothers were best friends so as one would expect, Elizabeth & Jessica were best friends too! They never knew anything different. She taught Jessica how to tie her shoes as a child and what it meant to be a true friend as teenagers. As an adult she taught her what it meant to never take this life for granted. Elizabeth was a wonderful teacher, friend, sister & daughter. September 18, 1990 - June 21, 2017

Stephen Wigley

Father of the Bride

Owner of DSC Flooring Services in Forsyth County, Georgia, the bride is proud that her dad is capable of fixing and building anything. He is a very hard worker and has always believed in and supported his daughter’s dreams & ambitions. One of Jessica's favorite memories with her father is when they summited Mount LeConte together in 2020. Fun Dad Fact: Every year, on Christmas Eve he gifts her a new vinyl record. This is something the bride always looks forward to.

Theressa Wigley

Mother of the Bride

Although Mrs. Wigley will not be walking down the aisle with the bride & groom, she sure deserves a spot here. Often times a mothers work goes unnoticed even though their love is unconditional. The bride has always been able to confide in her mother whether it's in her arms or over a phone call. She would like to thank her for all the sacrifices that she's made for her throughout life. Jessica's favorite thing to do when home in Georgia is to go for a late night swim in Lake Lanier with her mom & younger sister, Emma.

Elizabeth Moore

Maternal Grandmother of the Bride

The brides "Nanny!" Jessica has called her grandmother this since she was a baby. Her Nanny is a retired nurse and devout Christian who loves to tend to her flowers. Whether it's watching jeopardy or going on walks together, it's always a treasure. If you know Jessica, you know she has a passion for nature, people and animals. Elizabeth is the reason why. When the bride was a little girl, they would explore mountains, woods and rivers together. Often times they'd fish, paint, rescue animals and help those less fortunate along the way. The impact she's made in the brides life is immeasurable. Fun Fact: Jessica's best friend Elizabeth Eubanks was named after her! We love you Nanny!

Kathryn Wigley

Paternal Grandmother of the Bride

Kathy, is a retired guidance couselor who substitute teaches in the Forsyth County School System. She is a devout Christian who volunteers at the food bank regularly. She loves visiting with her family & friends and cooks a mean green bean casserole on Thanksgiving! (The brides favorite side dish) She has always had a passion for serving and helping others and she shows it every day through her actions and voice. Jessica's favorite thing to do with Kathy is sit and talk about life. We love & appreciate you Kathy!

Jack McLaurin

Groomsman

Jack is the cousin of the groom, but he is more like his big brother. Duncan & Jack share a love for the mountains. One of Duncan's favorite memories with Jack is when they went hiking together in Boulder, Colorado. Every year they take a trip to Lake Lure, N.C. where they enjoy fellowship with their closest friends.

Michael McLaurin

Groomsman

Growing up in small town Dillon, S.C., Michael was Duncan's closest friend. People would often mistake them for brothers. They spent a lot of time watching professional wrestling and playing sports in the backyard. During their senior year Michael threw Duncan the winning touchdown pass with seconds left in the game.

Lee McLean

Groomsman

Lee and Duncan became best friends at a very early age. Some of the groom’s best memories of Lee are spending the weekend at his house in Rowland, NC. Lee’s dad would coach them in the batting cage, and Lee’s mom made the best lasagna. The two have remained close friends through the years and now both reside in Wilmington, NC.

Rush Lowther

Groomsman

Rush was Duncan’s first great friend at Clemson University. They both shared a passion for Clemson football and wanted to be on the team. They spent afternoons training on the intramural fields their freshmen year. As fate would have it, they both ended up on the Clemson football team. The two developed a life long friendship and their families have also become great friends.

David Brown

Groomsman

For the last ten years, "Dunc and Dave" have become great friends. It’s rare you see one without the other. The groom’s favorite memories with Dave are at his beach house in Ocean Isle, NC. They’ve spent a lot of time beaching it, grilling out, and solving the world’s problems on the back porch. The two together know how to do island life.

Thomas Hunter

Thomas has supported Duncan in everything he has ever done, often making trips to watch him coach. Duncan is grateful to have Thomas as a friend.

John David McKee

Groomsman

John David was a roommate and fraternity brother of Duncan’s at Clemson. Fun fact about the two: they drove from Clemson, SC to South Padre Island, TX in 36 hours, stopping to eat Jambalaya on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. This story is a reflection of how much the two enjoy a good adventure. Duncan and JD have remained great friends through the years.

Jeanne McLaurin

Mother of the Groom

The mother of the groom. Jeanne grew up loving her sons Duncan & Daniel more than words could describe. She always kept a loving home for the men in her life. Duncan remembers having a warm meal every night and clean uniforms for every game during his childhood and teenage years. Ever since Duncan met Jessica, Jeanne has always welcomed her with open arms. She finally has a girl in the family!

Ryckie Fernandez Sr.

Officiant

Larger than life personality and people lover, Ryckie Fernandez Sr. has been an outstanding teacher and pastor for over 10 years. The bride first had the pleasure of meeting him & his wife Julie in 2021 at Uprising Christian Church located in Lawrenceville, Georgia. During this time she was searching for a new home church. As soon as she walked through the doors she felt known, loved & like she belonged. Not only by him, but everyone. Duncan saw first hand how much this impacted Jessica's life in a positive way. He was able to attend an Uprising service with Jessica and meet Ryckie in person for the first time in 2024, which was very exciting. Although now they live states away & attend a new church, the bride and groom can always watch his sermons or join bible study on their Facebook Page, "Uprising Christian Church." We love you Ryckie!
