Flight
This is the best airport to fly into. It's named the "Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport" and while it's advertised as being located in "San Juan", it's actually in Carolina, P.R. Be aware that Puerto Rico has another larger airport (BQN), however it is located in Aguadilla, which is on the far west side of the island. Unless you're staying on the west side of the island, you should not fly there.
Hotel
For any of our guests looking to stay at a hotel near our wedding venue in Cayey, this is a great choice. Caguas is the neighboring town of Cayey. The hotel has great reviews and as of March 1, 2022, one room was approximately $200.00 per night for non-members of Marriott. They require unvaccinated guests wear a mask at all times and show proof of a negative test - so, you can just show them the negative test you took prior to boarding your flight.
House Or Rental
AirBnB is based out of San Francisco, CA, however, they offer options for boarding all around the world including all across the island of Puerto Rico. You may choose to stay anywhere on the island as long as you are mindful of the distance you will need to travel back and forth. For that reason, we recommend staying in the San Juan area where you'll have access to various restaurants, outdoor activities and many beaches. Cayey is approximately 45 minutes from San Juan. For those who have never used AirBnB, it is a place where many people rent their home or respective property(ies) on a daily or weekly basis. I would refrain from staying in any place with no "reviews". If you see a property that you like and the host is advertised as a "Superhost", that means that he/she/they are experienced hosts and have rented to many people. Please read the reviews and choose a Superhost.
