I applied for a job as a Guest Service Representative at the new Cambria Suites White Plains and Ravi called me in for an interview. Yes, he was my boss! As soon as we locked eyes that day, I felt the spiritual connection and the magic. I knew he had to be in my life forever!

It took us 2 and half years to actually become a couple and I felt completely comfortable to be myself around him. We were supposed to go to Miami Carnival, but Hurricane Matthew happened and our flights were cancelled. Since we all had the time off, we decided to make the best of it and took a weekend road trip to Philadelphia with his best friend. We had a blast bar hopping, visiting the Rocky Statue, and "trying" to run up the Rocky stairs! We even crashed an Indian wedding LOL!! Once we came back to New York, we thought, "Ok, this could be something!" Est. 10/11/2016

We hosted Thanksgiving Dinner after renovating the house. Everyone was called to come into the living room with a drink in hand. I stood next to Ravi and he started to make a speech. I start freaking out because I didn't prepare a speech, neither did I know we were supposed to do one. I look around and everyone has their phones out to record. As he's talking, I realize that this speech is not a "What are we Thankful for Speech" it's more geared towards me and us. Now, my heart is bumping and I start to sweat! At the end of his speech he calls Rocky to come out of the crate and I see that he's wearing a bandana that says "Will you Marry my Dad?" Ravi gets down on one knee, opens the box and asks me to marry him!! Of course I said YES!! That was such a magical night!
