We love to get oysters, fries, and fun cocktails here! It is so good and the service is fantastic.
While this is a little out of the way, it is sooo worth it. We went here for the first time for Miranda's 23rd birthday and have gone back multiple times since. The food is upscale Thai and unmatchable. The restaurant has a James Beard Award and was recently named the #7 best restaurant in the U.S.
The soft serve here is delicious. We have driven across town just for this ice cream before.
This museum is a very cool medical museum that may not be for everyone, but if it's up your alley, we highly recommend.
Great brunch spot! The food is amazing and the coffee and matcha is good too.
We love thrifting here! It is huge and we pretty much always leave with something.
We hike Forbidden Drive with our dogs all the time! It has views of the Wissahickon Creek and is beginner friendly.
This is a bit out of the way, but the best matcha ever and their banh mi is amazing.
Love love love the coffee here. We have become regulars and when one of us goes without the other, Meg asks us where the other is.
A Philly classic! If you go, make sure to check out Fox & Son.
If you get a chance, go see a show here! Fun fact: We saw Hamilton here.
So freaking good! If you go for dinner, make sure to get their broiled oysters and latkes. If you go for breakfast, make sure to get their pancake.
A museum of archeology and anthropology located right on Penn's campus (where Jess is getting her master's).
While Miranda does work for the Free Library of Philadelphia, this is not the location she works at but it is the coolest. It is a historical library that has a variety of special collections including rare books dating all the back to cuneiform tablets.
