FOOD: Penn State Berkey Creamery
A must when you visit State College as this Penn State's historic creamery. Jessica's favorite flavor: Alumni Swirl with PSU Sprinkles. Kiran's favorite flavor: Bittersweet Mint. If you go, you can only choose one flavor! That's the rules, we don't make them.
FOOD: Champs Sports Grill
Another spot you have to check out if you want to pretend to be a local for the weekend! We have been to Champs countless times- a great spot to meet up with friends and eat Bullfight Nachos & Wings (Meek flavor for Jessica, Harlicky flavor for Kiran), and drink a Blueberry Boyfriend beer while watching any sports game. Sounds nice, right?
FOOD: The Original Waffle Shop West
An iconic breakfast spot in State College, PA. There are three Waffle Shop locations in State College and this one, we both agree, is the best one to go to. We recommend getting any of their omlettes, home fries (extra crispy), and upgrading those pancakes to chocolate chip. You also have to try the blueberry muffin (grilled, of course!)
Nittany Lion Shrine
Right behind The Nittany Lion Inn lives the historic Nittany Lion Shrine. We recommend taking a picture with the lion if you choose to check it out!
The Arboretum at Penn State
We loved this location for our ceremony for a reason- it's truly breathtaking as it's filled with a vast amount of plants and flowers. Feel free to find time to walk around the Arboretum to experience the beauty for yourself.
"The Trap House"
This is where we met each other for the first time- at Kiran's college house where he lived for 3 years. Not the craziest site to see in State College, but a little peak into where it all started for us if you happen to drive by it. Also, Saquon Barkley was once at a party in Kiran's living room. He has bragging rights.
