A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away... we met our sophomore year at Penn State. Emphasis on met here- we both went to the same high school (State High) but never ended up talking while in school. Kiran's roommate, Jack, knew Hannah from high school, and had invited her to come hang at The Trap House with a group of friends, so Hannah brought Jessica along. The Trap House brought together not only a great group of friends, but also the beginning of our relationship. Our lives took us on different paths throughout college but brought us back together. We both ended up in Massachusetts- Kiran studying for his PhD at WPI and Jessica working at Havas Media. There were a lot of visits to Worcester and Boston during the weekends, which eventually led to us moving to Shrewsbury together! Also, can't forget our other roommate, Aaliyah, who also made some trips into Boston to visit, too. Kiran proposed to Jessica on 7/20/24 on a hiking trail in Holden, MA. Jessica was truly surprised, as she was expecting to go on a hike with Kiran, Aaliyah, Jason, and Carly that day. However, Jason and Carly "cancelled", and after hiking together for some time in beautiful greenery, Aaliyah's white bandana had the words "Will you adopt me Mommy?" and Kiran was on one knee. It was the best surprise Jessica could have hoped for! We love our story together as it starts with friends bringing us together, and as we move into the next chapter of our relationship, we are grateful that we get to spend our wedding surrounded by all of those who have supported us throughout our lives and our relationship. We are so thankful for all the love we have received as well as the support. It makes us all the more excited to remember... the 21st night of September!
