I don't know what I can say to describe Allie, so I will give you a rundown of defining Allie characteristics I have learned from living with her: she always sighs before she gets off the couch for bed, she is obsessed with squirrels and has a squirrel tattoo, she hates it when I get in her bed when she is trying to go to sleep, and she is my bestest buddy. The only thing we've ever disagreed about is where to put tortillas in our house: the fridge or the cupboard. She also once told me that she will kick Logan out of our bed after we get married to come have a sleepover!

His hair so luscious, so long and slick, His love for me is incredibly thick, A roommate, a friend, a brother to me, He brightens my day with all of his energy, If you see him play cymbals and dance around, You won't be able to force a frown, It wasn't that hard for me to decide, That he is the one I want right by my side.

Last year we celebrated her, now it's time to swap! My second favorite (former) Julson, my children's future reading teacher, and the sister who I never had. Excited to be family for the rest of our lives! Big plus: she's providing me with a small child to spoil.

Lex is the roommate that I can always count on to crack a joke when I need one. She is a karaoke queen, never lets the fun times stop, and we are pretty sure that we had all the same childhood experiences! I am looking forward to calling her for my whole teaching career to figure out the best accommodations for students in my classroom!

Jaiden is quite honestly the biggest encourager that I have ever met. She is so incredibly intentional with her people, and always seems to know the exact right moment to send a text. I know that she will be the biggest hype woman on my special day AND that she will help everything to run smoothly!

Another great man who I knew from the start, Though so far away, we have not grown apart, His nice and joyous and warm gentle soul, Is something that makes me feel so whole, Through high school he was a great friend of mine, Regardless of what was going on at the time, I'll forever look up to the kindness he gives, And the way that he never hesitates to forgive.

One very memorable Maggie memory that I have is when she first told me, "the world's your oyster", which I had literally never heard of. (Apparently people say that?) Maggie has always been there to talk through the tough times of life with, or to talk with about how much we love being summer camp counselors. I will always appreciate Maggie's honesty, love and faithfulness to our friendship!

A Jesus loving beast, with a hint of swagmaster, If you think you can run faster than him, trust me, he's faster, So wise and knowledgeable about the One who saves, Colin is definitely up there on the list of "my faves", My first ever Bible study leader and a very close friend, He will always have my back, all the way to the end.

Grace and I go WAY back, to at least 2015, we're pretty sure, and we have had some wild adventures. These would include being roommates at Lake Ellen for a summer, watching YouTube videos on how to be a good housewife, doing a ton of hay together, taking care of a boatload of animals, and watching each other fall off horses. Even though we currently live four hours apart, I know that we can always pick up where we left off! I can't wait to switch roles on October 15!

Sydney, aka Squidney, is someone that I know I can always count on to do something dumb with me, or to laugh at me for doing something dumb, while also encouraging me and pointing me towards Jesus. She is so compassionate and will be the best social worker, besides Logan. If you have any questions about National Parks or California, Sydney is your girl!

An intentional soul is Garrett Frey, There isn't a minute or hour or day, That he won't ask you about things that you love, Like sports, movies, and our Father above, The time that I met him, I already knew, We'd be closer than shoe laces are on a shoe, Through wisdom and love from Jesus alone, Garrett will always make you feel known.
