Uber: Download the Uber app and create a log in. Type your destination into the “Where to?” section. Select the type of vehicle you would like at the bottom of the screen. Tap “request” and then confirm the pickup location. Wait for your request to be accepted by a driver and check the estimated time of arrival. Ubers typically arrive within 10 minutes of your request. Be sure to check the type of car and the license plate before getting in an Uber. Yellow Cabs: If the numbers on top of the taxi are illuminated, the taxi is available. However, if they're not illuminated, the taxi is occupied. To hail a taxi, raise/wave your hand or whistle to get their attention. Please note yellow cabs are not quite as prevalent in Brooklyn as they are in Manhattan. Subway: This is the most cost effective way to get around the city. Utilize Google Maps or Apple Maps to determine which trains will get you to your destination. Access to the subway costs $2.75. You can buy a metro card at the vending machines in the station or pay via Apple Pay at the turnstiles.
There is no parking available at the wedding venue. We strongly encourage guests to take a cab, uber or the subway.
