Weekend Events

Come up to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and explore the natural beauty and wonder of this unique landscape! Waterfalls, hiking, biking, cruises, whitefish and pasties, paddle boarding, and of course, Pictured Rocks! While the UP of Michigan has been largely unaffected with Covid-19, all of the events have been planned to include outdoor venues and social distancing. Masks are required for entry into most indoor shops and spaces (hotel lobbies, restaurants until seated, etc.) Thank you for doing your part! We are all in this together :)

Semi-Formal Beach Attire

Directions will be provided at your check in to Ellis Falls at Miners Beach North End. A short walk through the woods will find guests at the the ceremony which will be on the bright coast of Lake Superior. Parking is extremely limited- please carpool to the event. The cocktail hour and reception at the Pinewood Lodge to follow. The evenings can be rather brisk, so along with your dancing shoes, please bring a light jacket or a shawl.
