We're Getting Married!

We had been chatting for weeks online getting to know each other and decided to meet for a cocktail downtown Grand Rapids. We soon found out that we both enjoyed boating and music and made a fun summer together on the many inland Michigan Lakes.

Our mutual love of water and adventure landed us on a Thai longboat off the coast of Koh Phi Phi where after cruising and swimming, our small sweet boat driver pulled into the pristine cove of Maya Bay and Jesse took the opportunity to take this relationship to the next level. Michelle of course said Yes! Woooo! Jesse had arranged for a travel ring so Michelle wouldn't be worried about losing or damaging it while abroad. Thanks to Cathy for catching proposal number two on Little Traverse Lake!

Our first road trip was two years ago on the north shore of Michigan's Upper Peninsula on the crisp waters of Lake Superior! Our friendship turned into something special peering up at the majestic colors of Pictured Rocks together. We’ve been back a few times, each time the place growing closer to our hearts. On August 30, we will start a new chapter in our “just us” place.
