Is the ceremony outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be outdoors at Sunken Gardens on a grass lawn. See Sunken Gardens Weddings Facebook page for more images of the venue.

Question

What can we do between the wedding ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We expect the ceremony to end around 11:30 AM. Guests will have access to the gardens after the wedding to walk and take photos. The gardens open to the public at 12:00 PM. The reception is about 1.5 miles from the ceremony at The Birchwood (approx 6 minutes south of the gardens). We recommend walking around North Straub Park/Bayshore Drive NE or there are plenty of coffee shops to stop for a quick pick me up (cafes listed on Things to Do page).

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking for the ceremony is free in the Sunken Gardens Parking Lot. Parking for the reception is available around Downtown St. Pete in along Beach Drive NE, parallel spots around the city, or parking garages. LAZ Parking Garage is the closest to the reception, but there should be street parking available as well.
