Jess and Martina’s story began 20 years ago in San Diego where their playful friendship at that age began with rock climbing, bike riding, dining out, and searching for vintage finds. And now, they have fostered a deep connection filled with soul maturing work, holding space for each other, and exchanging wisdom from their ancestors. Naturally, Jess would officiate as she has been present for Martina’s life milestones and life changing moments. For Martina, Jess is her soul sibling, her confidant, her buddy. For so many others, Jess has taken on the role as a Death Doula, Ordained Buddhist Chaplain, Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher, and Healer. Above all, Martina admires Jess’ continuous commitment to the emotional labor of doing no harm and to becoming an improved human. Jess is a lover of life and in all things she sees their humanness. It is an honor for Martina and for Jesse to have her presence on their magical day. They are excited for you to experience the abundance of compassion and joy of Jess’ presence too!
