10:00 am
Aloha attire.
EEK! A day before the B I G day! A time to practice and more importantly, a time for our families to meet each other. We will gather at the bottom of the escalator to the restaurant, then we will walk to the lawn of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel for the practice. Brunch will be afterwards. Andrea, Martina's sweet friend, will be our hostess for the morning. In alignment with our lifestyle choice, this will be an alcohol-free event. https://www.islandvintagewinebar.com/
8:30 am - 9:00 am
So that we arrive together and no one has to manage a car + parking, we will have the Waikiki Trolley service for you! The trolley ride will be approximately 20 minutes. Here's the schedule: 8:30am - Pick up at the corner of Lili'uokalani Avenue and Koa Avenue, across from Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach. Travel to Magic Island, ceremony site, then drop off at reception which will be the final destination. Be on time! We don't want to leave anyone behind! Chanda and Kila, Martina's sister and niece, will be your hostesses for the trolley ride.
10:00 am - 11:00 am
Aloha Attire: Wear earth tones and light-colored clothes matching the morning time and island vibes. Wearing white won't offend Martina! Just stay away from blacks and dark colors please. Ladies, keep in mind that this is a grassy park so consider flats or wedges instead of heels.
Magic Island is a beach park with soft grassy areas where you will be seated facing the sunshine with parasols that will provide you with shade and a dazzling view of Diamond Head Crater. For those of you not riding the trolley with the rest, we will be at park site #40.
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Local Hawaiian-style brunch will be served along with a hosted espresso and juice bar. Jason, Jesse's oldest brother, will be moving us along through the afternoon while we all celebrate our BIG DAY! In alignment with our lifestyle choice, this will be an alcohol-free event.
10:00 am
Beach attire: Wear your bathing suit and bring your beach towel and sunblock because we will be on the sand and in the water!
Tents will be set up and locally made tacos will be served at 11am. We will gather on the sand and in front of a small bay perfect for us to wade in the water. Please bring a beach chair if your hotel provides them to you! Just on the other side of the rock wall is Queens Break where we can paddle out for surf! We'll have surfboards and beach toys. For those who don't surf, we're so excited to have an outrigger canoe take you to experience what it feels like to ride a wave! Our sweet friend, Noe who is surf photographer will also be present to capture us all playing together.
