Are there any special hotel reserved blocks/discounts?

YES! The Best Western Plus All Suites Inn at 500 Ocean St. has 12 rooms reserved for us at the discounted rate of $189/night (through June 24th). Folks, this is a steal, and the absolute cheapest you'll find in Santa Cruz in Aug., so please book soon to take advantage! We have 12 rooms blocked: 9 with a king bed, and 3 with 2 queens. There will be plenty of free street parking along Harvey West Blvd.

YES! This is a family-friendly wedding. However, we are asking that you only bring those listed on your RSVP.

Instead of registering somewhere, we prefer that you contribute to one of our listed funds as a wedding gift. See our "Registry" page!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
There will be a spectrum of formal to casual wear, so wear what you'd like! For the wedding party, our color theme is blue--any shade.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

While we are not specifically providing shuttles, it's a short distance (1-2 miles) from the hotels to the wedding, so Uber/Lyft will be affordable.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive by 4pm, to give everyone time to get settled and introduced, etc. before we start our ceremony at 4:30pm.

What will be served for food and drink?

We’re having catering arriving from Pono’s, a local favorite for Hawaiian food. This includes chicken teriyaki, a vegetarian stir fry, coconut shrimp, sweet chili wings, and mac n cheese. For drinks we’ll have primarily beer & wine, sodas. etc.

What if I have special allergy/nutrition needs?

Our food selection will be 100% nut-free. Please feel free to directly text Jesse or Kachina about any additional allergy/nutrition needs. We will try our best to work with you and accommodate!
