We call this neighborhood RINO. It is a 15 minute walk from the hotels and is filled with street art, breweries, shops, and restaurants. You can spend a few hours hanging between Five Points and RINO.
You can walk about 10 minutes from the hotel and see a massive park overlooking the city and mountains. The Platt River has fantastic walking/biking paths that go miles in multiple directions.
Union Station is an iconic landmark is downtown Denver about a 5 minute walk from the hotels. It is our Amtrak station but has a boutique hotel and over 10 restaurants within the building.
If you are renting a car or want to Uber about 30-40 minutes, we definitely recommend exploring Boulder. You can walk along Pearl Street (similar to Charlottesville's downtown mall) and hike around the Flat Irons in just a few hours.
Golden is another one of our fav spots about 20 minutes from Denver. There is a fun main street and a beautiful river walk where people bike, hike, fish, tube, and picnic. Coors Light is also brewed here!
This is where we got engaged:)! This is about an hour from Denver and a beautiful, moderate 4 mile hike to an alpine lake.
