How did Jess & Tyler meet?

Answer

Jess & Tyler met in October 2016 in San Francisco while working for the same company, HotelTonight. After a year and change, they finally started flirting at the company holiday party. Flash forward to a January Lake Tahoe ski trip, Tyler impressed Jess with his ski skills and Jess impressed Tyler with her lack of fear on the slopes. Jess was glued to the Eagles playoff game at the mid-mountain restaurant and without knowing what he was getting himself into, Tyler stayed back and helped Jess cheer on her team. Jess was impressed that she didn't scare him away. Immediately following this weekend, Jess and Tyler started hanging out more and the rest is history.

Why did Jess & Tyler choose to get married in Colorado?

Answer

Jess and Tyler moved to Denver in October 2020 and really wanted their wedding to be in a city that represented their life together. They love the mountains and can't wait to show you what makes Denver so special.

Welcome Party - Cocktail Saturday Ceremony & Reception - Formal (Definitely not black tie, but think a little more formal than cocktail) Hope this helps!

Where should I fly into?

Answer

You can fly into Denver International Airport, which is about 25-30 minutes from the hotels.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided and will leave the Maven Hotel at 3:00pm.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! There is a hotel block at the Maven Hotel and the Rally Hotel (across the street from one another). Links to both hotel blocks can be found the under the Travel tab.

How do I choose which hotel to book?

Answer

The Maven and the Rally are two boutique hotels in the heart of Denver and are conveniently located across the street from one another. Our Saturday shuttle transportation will be leaving from the Maven hotel entrance and our Sunday brunch will be located at the Maven. You can’t go wrong with either option.

Wedding Registry?

Yes! You can find our registry on our website, but your presence at our wedding is the biggest gift. If you choose to contribute, we would be most grateful for a contribution to our South Africa Safari honeymoon experience.

Welcome Party Logistics?

Answer

Bigsby's Folly is a 5 minute drive from the hotels. The hotels have first come first serve transportation that will take you anywhere within a 2 mile radius. Feel free to take their transportation, uber/lyft, scooter, or take the tram. There are also tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance from Bigsby's Folly. The Source Hotel is one of our favs because it has 5 different restaurant options. Number 38 and Ironton Distillery are also great large group options and 5 minute walk from Bigsby's Folly.
