Jess & Travis met through friends at a get together. Coincidently, they were the only two people in attendance not currently seeing anyone. Jess called her mom on the drive home and Jeannie immediately asked if this was supposed to be a setup. Jess was convinced that it absolutely was not. A few days later, Jess and Travis both received a message from one of the hosts of the get together, asking about the possibility of exchanging phone numbers between Jess & Travis. Jess then got Travis' phone number and decided to reach out. Travis later revealed he had hoped it was a ploy to get he and Jess together, but admitted he wasn't sure until he got the message. Their first date was to a Colts game with dinner at Thunderbird to follow. They hit it off right away, but both tried to play it cool, which didn't last long. About a year and a half later, Travis proposed in front of Thunderbird. Their friends still maintain it was not a setup, but Travis and Jess aren't sure they believe them. They are however, eternally grateful for the "not setup" just the same. #CheerstoChalmers
