Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Jessica Tang and Ruben De Man
We're so excited to share a few things to do in the area. Located at the southern tip of the Adirondack Park, there is a lot of history and natural beauty to enjoy in and around Saratoga. It is a must-see if you have not made the trip, especially in the summer.
Saratoga Race Course

The Saratoga Racetrack opens every year from mid-July to early September. Admission Gates open at 11:00 am daily except for Runhappy Travers Day (7:00 am). Admission can be purchased at all track entrances on live racing days, as well as on Ticketmaster.com. We used to go here every summer to bet on horses!

Lake George

If you are new to the Adirondacks and want to explore some hiking options, this is a great place to check out. From classic summer activities like hiking the southern Adirondacks or cruising around on the Queen of American Lakes, and unique experiences you can’t get anywhere else. Prospect Mountain is a three-mile roundtrip hike.

Saratoga Spa State Park

Saratoga Spa State Park

Saratoga Spa State Park, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

This is where our high school hosts its graduation, but it is so much more than just a park. It is a performing arts center with a myriad of visiting artists in rotation. If you are a fan of the arts, you will love it here. Tickets can be purchased on the website. If you do not want to catch a show, you can just stroll along the Avenue of the Pines or play some frisbee golf.

Spa City Farmers Market

Spa City Farmers Market

South Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

National Museum of Dance

National Museum of Dance

As an avid ballet dancer, Jess has to recommend this place. This is the only museum in the U.S. dedicated entirely to the art form of dance!

This is one of the best restaurants in the city that serves Southern Italian food. They are only open for dinner, but they have a gorgeous patio and the food is amazing. Try their eggplant chips; you will be pleasantly surprised.

Max London's

Our wedding venue has a great restaurant, Prime, that serves amazing brunch. However, they are only open for brunch on Sundays. If you want to grab brunch on Saturday or want a change of scenery, visit this restaurant for brunch. They have wonderful mimosas, waffles, and scrambled eggs. Head over to Mrs. London's for some pastry or dessert afterward.
