Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?
Answer
Heinz Chapel has a designated lane of street parking for 30 cars. Carnegie Museum has a large parking lot in the rear of the building. The bride and groom will be covering the costs of parking for you! You will be given a parking ticket, and there will be stickers at the reception that can be used to validate the parking ticket. Overnight parking IS possible, but the museum prefers that all cars are out of the lot by night's end.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Both ceremony and reception will be fully indoors.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Answer
We have reserved blocks in two hotels for the night of Thursday, August 14 and Friday, August 15th. What is the best way to get to and from the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Both hotels are a very short walk to the ceremony and reception venues. For those who don’t prefer to walk, we will have a shuttle to drop off guests at the ceremony and pick them up from the reception back to the hotels as well.

What do we do between the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour?
Answer
The ceremony should wrap up by 4, and the cocktail hour begins at 5. Good news! Wedding guests can walk through the exhibits at the Museum for free! To gain access to the museum, just go to the front desk at the far left of the building and tell them you are a guest of the Glaser-Walker wedding. The exhibits are open until 5:00 PM, which is perfect timing for the start of our cocktail hour!

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s) for the wedding and/or prewedding events?
Answer
Yes! We will have a shuttle from the hotels to the ceremony and a shuttle from the reception to the hotels at the end of the evening. The times for the shuttle to the ceremony are TBD and will be updated when confirmed. The evening shuttle will run from 9:15 - 11:15 PM.

Let us know right away! The hotels might still be able to accommodate you, and if not, we can help find an alternative.

Answer
Pittsburgh International Airport, which is an approximately 30 minute drive to the hotels/venues.

What's the dress code for your wedding?
Answer
Black-tie optional We ask men to wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie and women to wear an evening gown or a midi- or knee-length cocktail dress.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

August in Pittsburgh is typically pretty hot and humid!

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 401 Forest Highlands Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15238. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Our wedding will take place at Heinz Chapel on Friday, August 15th. The ceremony will begin at 3:00 PM sharp, followed by cocktail hour at 5:00 PM and the reception, which is anticipated to wrap around 10 PM. There will be a post-reception celebration at the lobby bar of the Courtyard Marriott.

The ceremony starts at 3:00 PM sharp, and we would like everyone to be in their seats by 2:30. The wedding venue is approximately a 7 minute walk from the hotels.

The reception will end at 10:00 PM, and there's an after party at the lobby bar of the Courtyard Marriott.
