Matron of Honor
You could say Ann and I go back a long way, 32 years to be exact. In addition to being my aunt, she has truly been my number one cheerleader and mentor throughout my life. Ann has introduced me to many of the things I now love in my life- all of our dogs, Ocean City, and travel (Dallas, Kansas, and North Carolina are a few of my favorite trips). She’s always been my teacher, but never yells, except once when I was 8 and didn't wear shoes on the hot sand. This day would be impossible without her and I’m blessed to have her as not only my family, but my friend.
Best Man
Where to begin with this one? Evan and I have known each other since high school with our adventures beginning working as bus boys at a restaurant to going on to becoming roommates. The stories stack up from our less than desirable bachelor pad off Ingleside Avenue to where we find ourselves today. Even though he may be a few states away, we never have trouble picking up where things were left. I was honored to be apart of his wedding and couldn't be happier he's able to be apart of mine. I feel just apart of his family as he is of ours. I'm so proud of the life he and his wife Taylor continue to build.
Maid of Honor
The Barbie to my Teresa, my partner in crime, and my soul sister. I have known Amanda since grade school, but we really hit it off while waitressing together. We’ve spent countless nights laughing it up at the local bars, vacationing together in ocean city, or just hanging poolside enjoying crabs and beers in the summertime. Amanda has become more like family over the years, and I couldn't imagine this day without her!
Groomsman
All in all the little brother I never had, and in some ways never wanted. His family has become my family in a lot of ways. Always down to join in on the worst of ideas, which has created some of the best memories we'll never forget but will always regret. A great friend who's always ready to pickup right where we left off.
Bridesmaid
Rachel may be Rob’s sister by blood, but she has taken me in as one of the Holmes women since day one. It’s been amazing to watch Rae grow into motherhood over the last few years as her relationship with Quinne is one most mothers would dream of. I admire her dedication to Quinne daily and cannot wait to watch our families grow up together and make many beaching and boating memories!
Groomsman
Jess and Ben may have started their friendship first in their high school days, but it feels as though I've known him just as long. Blessed to have met this guy and his amazing wife Courtney. Our favorite double date couple for those tv show watch parties, who we can always count on to point us in the right direction for the best eats.
Bridesmaid
You could say our friendship was forced, but I am so glad it was! Laura and I met when working together over 7 years ago. We connected over multiple lunch dates, buckets of beers and endless appetizers- chips and cheese to be specific. This Mid-western girl has taught me to be a little kinder and compassionate. Check the dance floor during our wedding if you are trying to find Laura- she is always the life of the party!
Groomsman
He may be a cousin but was more like a brother growing up. There probably wasn't a weekend or day after school where we weren't hanging out crushing it on Xbox. My impromptu trips to the beach and casino guy. Couldn't be more proud of him as he continues to succeed in law school.
Bridesmaid
I inadvertently attempted not to room with Julia in college, but fate had other plans for us. After spending every Thursday together our freshman year at random house parties, we couldn’t wait to room together for the following three. Punch dance parties, Thursday Kegger’s at the lacrosse house, and hikes with Sophie really brought us together. I have loved making memories with you since 2008, and can’t wait to make even more as life goes on!
Groomsman
The most quick witted, magic trick slinging, sock flop wearing, pain in the ass I've ever met, but wouldn't have it any other way. Chris brings the comic relief when it's most needed (or not), which makes him one of my favorite people. He continuously encourages us as his friends to succeed as he and his amazing wife Julia continue to do, leading by example. He's a friend that'll still be around as we grow well into our old age, where those miller lite wizard staffs will come in real handy to hold our old asses up!
Bridesmaid
Jenn has known Rob for years, but her and I bonded at another wedding and have spent almost every weekend together since! Jenn lives her life to the fullest by spoiling her pups and attempting to scratch her incurable travel itch. We’ve had the best time over the last few years celebrating life’s milestones in Mexico, at wineries, breweries, and Shacks! I can’t wait to keep the party going this May!
Groomsman
If I was blessed enough to have an older brother, Jon is exactly how I think he'd be. He's become a true mentor in my life, from his drive to work hard and provide for his family to being my coach and motivator in the gym. When it's time to break away from our crazy lives, he and his wife are our favorite vacation buddies, as they are always down to travel and live life to the fullest. From our basement to theirs, you can count on us to be hanging from sun down to sun up.
Flower Girl
Our favorite girl- Quinne. We adore your personality and wild side. Your love for all Disney villains shows what a strong woman you’re going to grow up to be. Continue to keep everyone on their toes- for such a tiny person, you have a gigantic personality that we can’t wait for everyone else to see on the big day!
