Schnebly Winery is the southernmost winery in the United States and offers unique tropical fruit wines made from mango, guava, avocado, lychee and passion fruit. About 20-25 minutes southwest of the venue, the winery features waterfalls, tiki huts, wine tastings, farm to table food, and live music.
A historic village and hidden gem in Miami, Cauley Square is home to several small shops, including an antique store, art gallery, restaurant, bookstore, tea room, and salt cave. Cauley Square is about 10 minutes east of the venue. Fun Fact: this was one of our wedding venue options before we decided on The Gardens of Weber Manor.
Want to hit up a beach, but need some peace from the hustle and bustle of Miami Beach? Check out Matheson Hammock Park and Preserve, a local park about 45 minutes northeast of the venue and 15 minutes east of the Dadeland area. The park features a man-made atoll pool/lagoon surrounded by palm trees and mangroves. We love coming to this spot during our trips down South!
This is an open-air shopping mall about 20-25 minutes northeast of the venue and 15-20 minutes southwest of the Dadeland area. There are several dining options in the area. Some of Jess' favorites are Sokai Sushi Bar, Naked Taco and Bulla Gastrobar.
If you're looking to have a paddling, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, or boating experience while in Miami, we recommend checking out Biscayne National Park Institute. They offer several experiences from different departure points, including Homestead, Coconut Grove, Deering Estate, and Everglades National Park.
