We have a vision of all of our guests standing together in lieu of a bridal party, since that's how much y'all mean to us! So we'd like to request that folks dress in our colors: shades of blue, grey, and yellow. Each of these colors represent a big part of the traditions and history Kent and I are bringing into our new life together. Keep it cocktail, but weather appropriate. Also our venue surfaces include cobblestone so we recommend flats or wedges for ladies' footwear.
We are hosting a classic Charleston oyster roast! Check out this video for a primer on shucking your own oysters: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDXKpCZT_KQ
Call it a march, call it a parade, call it a traffic hazard, but we'll be migrating as a group through the streets of Charleston from Hampton Park to Leon's! Picture a mini Mardi Gras, complete with some loud music and maybe a few flasks floating around. For folks who aren't up for the walk, Uber is a great option or there is parking available at Hampton Park for those who are driving.
Sadly no, Kent & Jess had their travels and accommodations booked before the wee monster found his way into their lives.
It's a biergarten, which is German for "beer garden". Beer is casual, gardens are casual, be casual yourselves!
We’ve already notified Leon’s of the allergies we are aware of: eggs, soy, gluten, and shellfish. They will be marking any of the standing dishes with common allergens, and we’d recommend inquiring with the server about any passed dishes. If you have any dietary concerns or allergies not noted here, let Kent or Jess know ASAP.
