Getting There

The airport to fly into is PVR in Puerto Vallarta. Sayulita is a 45 minute drive from PVR. We do NOT recommend renting a car. Travel to / from the airport is easy by Taxi and once you are in Sayulita, all travel can be done on foot or by golf cart. A taxi ride from PVR to Sayulita costs roughly $25. If you prefer pre-arranged transportation, check with your Villa or arrange a car through Versa Premium Destination: http://dmcversapremium.com/. Uber is a convenient (and often cheaper) option. Note—it's common for drivers to request cash vs. accepting payment through the app. You use the app to summon the car but pay in cash. Please take this into consideration when booking Uber.

Getting Around

Fun fact: there are no stoplights in Sayulita and you can walk from one end of the town to the other in just 15 minutes. However, some villas are perched on a hill where a golf cart would add convenience. If you’re staying on a hill or beyond the ends of north/south side, you may want zip around in a cart. Boho chic hotels ain't your thing or looking to book for groups? Some options we recommend: Airbnb / VRBO: staying on the North Shore of town is quieter and the houses are luxurious. If you don’t mind an incline there are also well-designed houses on Gringo Hill directly above the plaza. You’ll want to rent a golf cart!
