Comfort Inn & Suites Medina NY near Erie Canal

The Comfort Inn is the best option for guests looking to stay close to our venue. This hotel is located only 2 miles from The Gallagher for a short drive to and from the venue on our wedding day. Unfortunately, this hotel does not accommodate room blocks, but you are welcome to coordinate with other guests to plan your stay.

Holiday Inn Express Amherst-Lockport

The Holiday Inn is a good option for guests who might want to explore Buffalo and the surrounding areas during their stay. This hotel is located in Lockport, ~30 minutes from our wedding venue for a slightly longer drive on our wedding day. However, this hotel is conveniently situated right off of the thru-way, and is central to the city of Buffalo as well as Niagara Falls. Jess's parents often stay here when they come to visit, and have always had a pleasant experience.

There are also several Airbnb and bed & breakfast options in the Medina & Buffalo areas. If you find a place you'd like to stay but have some questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us! You can also click the link to view more lodging recommendations from our venue. Additionally, if you are looking for a more unique stay, our venue permits the use of campers/tents on the property for the duration of our rental (Friday 09/18 at 12:00 PM-Sunday 09/20 at 12:00 PM). There is a large lawn behind the wedding party guest house for dry camping. Generators are welcome!

Travel Note

For Michigan Guests

A special note for friends/family coming from Michigan: If you plan to drive and have an enhanced license or passport, driving through Canada is a good option. Although border crossings can be unpredictable, taking this route generally saves about 1-2 hours of drive time.
