Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have chosen to have an adult-only celebration. We love your kids, but we hope you can take a night off and enjoy the party!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you are allowed a plus one, it will be indicated on your formal invitation. We would truly love to expand our celebration, but due to budgeting purposes and guests limits we cannot accommodate additional guests.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place under a covered outdoor pavilion. During cocktail hour, the barn will be open and there will be several grassy outdoor spaces for guests to explore. The reception will take place inside the barn.

What's the weather like?

Answer

Buffalo weather can be quite unpredictable, but September is generally a more moderate month. The high is usually in the 70s, and the weather cools off as the sun sets. The barn is not airconditioned, but there are huge fans and sliding doors to provide airflow. We suggest dressing for warmer weather but bringing a sweater/shawl for when the temperature gets cooler at night.

Do you have a block of hotel rooms reserved for wedding guests at a discounted rate?

Answer

Unfortunately, the hotels closest to our venue do not accommodate hotel blocks. We have provided several lodging options in the "Travel" section of our website to allow guests the flexibility to consider price, location, and other factors when booking their stay. Please reach out to us with ANY questions you may have with regard to lodging and travel.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will not be a designated shuttle from any hotels to the wedding venue. Ubers/taxis may be available the day of, but we encourage guests to carpool or coordinate with other guests if transportation is a concern. Don't forget, our venue also accommodates the use of tents and campers!
