SAULT STE MARIE (YAM)

Flying in from out of town? Well well well, looks like we've got a bit of a travel situation here, but fear not my friend, I've got some fun tips to make it a breeze! First things first, let's talk airports. If you're trying to get to our fabulous event, the closest airport is in Sault Ste. Marie. Now, I know what you're thinking, "that sounds easy enough, right?" Wrong! This airport is teeny-tiny, so flights in and out are about as consistent as the weather in March (which is to say, not very). Cancellations are just a fact of life here, so if you're feeling lucky, go ahead and book that flight. But, if you want to avoid any unexpected delays, we recommend flying into Toronto and renting a car. That way, you can cruise on up to our neck of the woods on your own schedule. But, if you're feeling extra fancy and want to make a vacation out of it, why not fly in a few days before the wedding? That way, you can take your time exploring all the wonders that our little slice of heaven has to offer. Who knows, you might even stumble upon some hidden gems that you wouldn't have discovered otherwise! So there you have it, my jet-setting friend. With a little bit of planning and a whole lot of fun, getting to our wedding will be a breeze. Can't wait to see you there!

Sudbury Airport (YSB)

Now, we know Sault Ste. Marie has the closest airport, but if you're looking for a backup option, Sudbury is your go-to. It's the second closest, but let's be real, it's still a tiny airport. And just like its "Soo" counterpart, the Sudbury airport can be a little unpredictable. You never know what you're gonna get! So, if you're thinking of flying in to Sudbury, we suggest keeping that in mind and maybe even planning to arrive a few days early to avoid any delays. But hey, let's look on the bright side, shall we? You may be flying into a tiny airport, but you're coming to party with us! And we promise, it's gonna be a blast.

Toronto Pearson Airport

So I know you've been wondering... what's the best way to get here from out of province? Fly into Toronto and rent a car, of course! Now, we know what you might be thinking - a road trip? That sounds like a drag. But trust us when we say, this drive is something special. From the lush green forests to the crystal-clear lakes, it's a sight to behold. And hey, don't just take our word for it. Reach out to the bride and groom for some of their favourite stops along the way. Trust us, you won't want to miss out on some of the hidden gems they've discovered over the years. Like Salute Coffee Company in Sudbury, for example. Seriously, if you love specialty lattes and treats, you won't want to skip this spot. And once you arrive at the wedding venue, you'll know it was all worth it. Imagine saying your "I dos" surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Northern Ontario. It's a truly unforgettable experience. So, what are you waiting for? Pack your bags, grab your camera, and get ready for a road trip adventure like no other. The bride and groom can't wait to welcome you to their special day!
