English: It all started on Halloween, one of those unplanned nights that end up meaning everything. We both went to a concert, not knowing that’s where we’d meet the person who’d change our world. Connor was about to leave before the main act, but something made him stay. Jess was weaving through the crowd with her friends, and somehow we found each other. We danced, laughed, talked, and it just felt easy, like we’d known each other forever. After that night, we barely went a day without seeing each other. Talking came naturally, being together felt effortless, and it didn’t take long to realize this was something different. That first year was full of movement, long walks, new shows, spontaneous weekend plans. A year later, we moved in together, and somehow it still felt just as natural. Fast forward to the Fourth of July 2022: sunshine, family, music, and Jess completely unsuspecting (nails undone, mid–White Claw 😅). Connor asked if she wanted to go on an adventure, and when she said yes, he dropped to one knee. There were tears, laughter, and the best kind of chaos. Now, a few years later, not much has changed. We're still exploring, going to concerts, racing Tough Mudder and Spartan races, hanging with our pups Scout and Addie 🐾, and soaking up the quiet nights at home. Our life together has always been simple, not because it’s boring, but because it feels right. Los dos fuimos a un concierto, sin saber que esa noche conoceríamos a alguien que cambiaría todo. Connor estaba a punto de irse antes del show principal, pero algo lo hizo quedarse. Jess, mientras tanto, intentaba acercarse al escenario con sus amigas. En medio de la multitud nos encontramos, empezamos a bailar, a reír, y todo se sintió fácil, natural, como si ya nos conociéramos. Desde esa noche, no pasaron muchos días sin vernos. Hablar era sencillo, compartir tiempo era aún mejor, y muy pronto supimos que esto era algo especial. El primer año fue puro movimiento, caminatas, series nuevas, fines de semana improvisados. Un par de años después, llegó el fin de semana del 4 de julio de 2022: sol, familia, música, y Jess sin sospechar nada (uñas sin hacer y White Claw en mano 😅). Connor le dijo que quería una aventura, y cuando ella aceptó, él se arrodilló. Hubo lágrimas, risas y ese tipo de felicidad que te deja sin palabras. Hoy seguimos igual que al principio: compartiendo aventuras, conciertos, entrando carreras de Tough Mudder y Spartan, tardes con nuestros perritos Scout y Addie 🐾, y noches tranquilas en casa.
