Are kids welcome?

Answer

YES! We have so many friends and family with children and we want to have everyone be a part of our special day. Please be mindful that we are in a museum with valuable artifacts, so you will need to supervise your children at all times.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle provided between the hotel and venue. Parking is available for those who wish to drive themselves.

What should I wear?

Answer

Guests can dress in cocktail attire. This falls between the formal and semi-formal. Wear what you feel comfortable in, but please, no jeans.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early (5:45). The Wileys have a saying "If you're early, you're on time, if you're on time, you're late."

Can I take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, as we're paying for a photographer and videographer to capture our special day. Please silence your phones, put them away, and take in the moment with us during our ceremony. We encourage you to take as many pictures as you wish before the ceremony and at the reception. As always, be mindful of those around you.

What is the venue like?

Answer

We are so blessed to be getting married at The Henry Ford. All of our guests will have full access to the museum during the reception, so feel free to explore some of the coolest historical artifacts.
