Jessa Hohnstein

Bride

Jessa has been working at the Mayo Clinic since May of 2017, most recently as a Financial Representative for the Mayo Clinic Laboratories working to submit insurance claims for patients. In her free time you'll likely find her working on a puzzle - whether it be word, jigsaw or a whole puzzle book, along with a glass of red wine and a bowl of popcorn. Her favorite summer activities include grilling in the backyard, playing cornhole or going camping with Nate and the dogs. In the winter you'll likely find them curled up on the couch watching a Marvel movie or The Office for the hundredth time. Jessa is so thrilled to be celebrating with friends and family and just can't wait to marry her best friend!

Nate Malone

Groom

Nate has been working as a Loan Officer at the Mayo Employees Credit Union for the last 3 years. As a sports fanatic, Nate spends a lot of time tracking his fantasy teams or collecting cool memorabilia, especially items autographed by Jerry Rice. Nate started playing trumpet in 6th grade and eventually worked up to being a World Champion with Minnesota Brass in 2011. In his free time, he enjoys playing with his dogs, goofing around with Jessa and drinking beer.

Emma Rutkowski

Maid of Honor

Emma spends her days working as an architect! She’s very interested in drawing, photography and art and has recently started her own photography business as well as her own Podcast. She met Jessa when they spent time in the University of Minnesota marching band and became good friends, bonding over the tuba. Jessa, Nate and Emma have grown to be good friends and have been able to keep in touch even after college and living in different states. From the Bride: Emma and I became close friends while marching tuba together and she was a huge reason why I was able to push through the times when my back and shoulders hurt and I didn’t want to carry my tuba anymore. Having her support not just in band but through life and my relationship with Nate is why she is perfect for my Maid of Honor!

Louie Delattore

Best Man

Louie lives in Eden Prairie with his lovely wife Charlotte and two daughters Myla and Leona, and baby girl #3 on the way! He has worked in education for the last 14 years and currently serves as an Executive Director of Enrollment and Recruitment with New Creations Child Care & Learning Centers. His hobbies include watch collecting, playing/teaching various musical instruments and living room dance parties with his girls. From the groom: Louie and I met back in elementary Sunday School classes and went to school together all the way through graduation. Through marching band, drum corps, starting families and more he was always there with helpful advice or a shoulder to cry on. Love you man!

Charlotte Delattore

Bridesmaid

Charlotte is the lucky wife to Best Man Louie and a stay at home mom to two (soon to be three!) wonderfully fun little girls. She enjoys long walks, large bodies of water and good (strong) coffee! She is also overjoyed to celebrate the marriage of her dear friends Nate and Jessa! Fun fact: Louie and Charlotte have a husky named Mijo who lived with Nate and Jessa for 16 months! From the Bride: I first met Charlotte when Nate and I went on a double date with her and Louie. I was nervous to meet his best friends but it was quickly clear that she is one of the kindest and sweetest people I’ve met. Thank you for your love and support and welcoming me into the group!

Will Kramlinger

Groomsman

Will lives in Mankato with his wife Courtney and daughter Claire. They have a rescue dog named Ernie. Will works at 3M New Ulm as a manufacturing engineer and his hobbies include BBQ, biking, kayaking and downhill skiing. Will met Nate in 6th grade band, and from there they enjoyed many band activities, college, and Govenaires Drum and Bugle Corps, all filled with shenanigans! From the groom: As mentioned above, I always remember meeting Will in 6th grade band. I even got him kicked out of rehearsal on accident once...sorry Will! With a shared love for music and Mavericks hockey, I always enjoy time spent together.

Carissa Kirtz

Bridesmaid

Carissa works as a Financial Representative at Mayo Clinic with Jessa. In her free time she enjoys hiking, climbing, running through mud, and spending time with her family. Carissa has a cat and three snakes at home and more house plants than she knows what to do with. From the Bride: I met Carissa on my very first day at Mayo back in 2017. I was so nervous and she made work fun and enjoyable! We were fast friends and since then she’s been such a great friend who has been so supportive. Can’t imagine work and life without you :)

Kevin Hohnstein

Groomsman

Jessa's brother Kevin, is the airline pilot of the family. Living in the Twin Cities, he enjoys bike riding, puzzles, playing cards, and a good glass of wine or charcuterie board. Unlike Jessa, Kevin prefers a real Cabernet Sauvignon versus that of the Franzia variety. If traveling outside of work, he's probably headed to one of the many different destinations this world has to offer. Fun fact: his favorite places to travel to so far have been Munich (because of its WWII history) and Hong Kong (because of its pure bliss). If Kevin could travel anywhere in the world, he’d like to visit the Maldives. From the groom: Future brother in-law! I've thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Kevin these past few years and I really look forward to getting to know him even more as we merge our families.

Stephanie Nolting

Bridesmaid

Stephanie is a music-loving mom of four who spends her days cleaning, keeping the peace, and pretending to be a zombie monster. She also directs a middle school girls choir, Bella Fiore, and is the Executive Director of Sing Out Loud in Rochester. Stephanie's favorite things are walking, organizing, singing, and hanging with her family. Fun fact: Stephanie is basically a cyclops. From the Bride: Though I haven’t known Steph for very long, we have so much fun together and have shared a lot of laughs! I have enjoyed getting to know Steph and her family through various board game nights and spontaneous hangouts. I'm sad we don't live down the street from you anymore but look forward to more get-togethers and Chili nights!

PC Nolting

Groomsman

PC is a board gaming dad and husband who spends his days working for Western Digital in Rochester. In his spare time, you can find him strategizing his next game of Scythe, playing guitar or basketball, or drinking a good microbrew. Fun fact: PC is crushing on one of the bridesmaids. From the groom: As with most of the groomsman, I got to know PC in high school marching band. I'll always give credit to PC for introducing me to my most favorite TV show, The Office (and for that I'll be forever in his debt). It's been a real pleasure getting to watch Steph and PC grow their family over the years.

Ruth Hohnstein

Mother of the Bride

Ruth spends her days working at the Mayo Clinic in Occupational Health and Safety. She has two grown kids who she adores and loves to spend time with. In her spare time you may find her training for her next race, doing a puzzle, or working in the garden. She enjoys a good craft beer or a trip to the winery with her kids. Her favorite way to spend the weekend is cruising down the Mississippi River with Dave and their black lab named Rocket. They always make sure to stop at their favorite beach so Rocket can splash in the water!

John Hohnstein

Father of the Bride

John lives in Rochester, MN and is Web/OMS Manager for Scheels All Sports. His favorite hobby, when not in a COVID lockdown, is to travel. He has visited 10 European countries and lived and worked in Iceland on 3 different occasions. He has been on mission trips with his brother Mike to Budapest, Hungary and Paraguay and he even lived and worked on a ranch in southern Mexico before college. He has been to all 50 states with the exception of Alaska but hopes to get there soon. His last trip was to New Zealand where he hiked volcanoes and tried sea kayaking! He enjoys road biking and tries to get in several hundred miles each month when Minnesota weather allows. The highlight of his life has been to be a part of his children's lives as they grew up into wonderful, exceptionally fine adults.

Melissa Malone

Mother of the Groom

Melissa has been working for Scheels since July and is also a former employee for Mayo Clinic Health System for 9 years. Apparently it runs in the family. :) She has been married to Tim for 21 years and has loved raising Nate and watching him grow into a wonderful young man. In her spare time she likes to do crafts, sewing and crossword puzzles. She and Tim have 2 dogs and one adopted cat who they enjoy spending time with.

Tim Malone

Father of the Groom

Tim is a self-made techie and all around nerd. He spends much of his spare time watching YouTube videos and gaming. He is married to his wife, Melissa, of 21 years. He works for Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato in the Public Affairs department. His role there is working with digital signage and video production and editing. This year will mark 9 years with Mayo. It seems that this family has a lot of people working for Mayo. Tim and Melissa have two small dogs, Max and Stella, and a rescue cat, Templar, who keep them busy all of the time.

Raoul Shah

Officiant

Raoul works as an attorney by day, an officiant by occasion. He enjoys spending time playing trumpet with his brass band, B+ Brass, and being active outdoors. Raoul is unique because he was friends with both Nate and Jessa before they even knew each other. Raoul met Nate while attending spring Minnesota Brass rehearsals and before Jessa joined Minnesota Brass, she and Raoul marched together in the University of Minnesota Marching Band. They grew to be close friends when Jessa joined Kappa Kappa Psi and Raoul was her Big Brother and mentor in the fraternity. Fun fact: In 2016, all 3 of them played trumpet in Minnesota Brass together.
