It’s wedding time! Es la hora de la boda!

We met on August, 24th 2017 on the dating app, Bumble. My neighbor had used the app in the past and tried to convince me to get on. Bumble was well-known as an app where most people were typically looking for a serious relationship, not just a one-night stand. On August 24, 2017, we matched! We talked for a few days back and forth and on September 1st we went on our first date. Our bumble was meant to bee. On my 40th Birthday, June, 14, 2021, we decided on forever on the beautiful island of Nantucket, Massachusetts. We started looking for engagement rings and we fell in love with one particular ring, but unfortunately they did not have it on my size so we left the store disappointed thinking that it would have been nice to purchase the ring on the island where we decided to be together forever. We returned from the trip and 10 days later, on June 24th, Jerry proposed to me in our living room with the very ring from Nantucket. When i wasn’t looking he has purchased the ring to have it sized and shipped to our home. I couldn’t believe it. I was so surprised I could only stop crying long enough to say yes. Cool fact: on the 24th we started talking and on a 24th, jerry proposed to me. 5 year’s worth of memories later, the time is right for us to officially tie the knot, and we couldn’t be more excited. Nos conocimos el 24 de agosto del 2017 en la aplicación de citas, Bumble. Mi vecina había usado la aplicación en el pasado y trato de convencerme de que me subiera. Bumble era bien conocida como una aplicación donde la mayoría de las personas generalmente buscaban una relación seria, no sólo una aventura de una noche. El 24 de agosto del 2017, coincidimos! Hablamos durante unos días y el 1 de septiembre salimos por primera vez. En mi cumpleaños número 40 (14 de junio , 2021) decidimos estar juntos para siempre en la hermosa isla de Nantucket, Massachusetts. Empezamos a buscar anillos de compromiso y nos enamoramos de un anillo en particular, pero desafortunadamente no lo tenían en mi tamaño así que salimos de la tienda decepcionados pensando que hubiera sido lindo comprar el anillo en la isla donde decidimos estar juntos para siempre. Regresamos del viaje y 10 días después, el 24 de junio, jerry me propuso matrimonio en el living de casa con el mismo anillo de Nantucket. Cuando no estaba mirando, había comprado el anillo para que lo dimensionaran y lo enviaran a nuestra casa . No lo podía creer! Estaba tan sorprendida que sólo pude dejar de llorar para decir que sí. Dato curioso: el día 24 empezamos a hablar y un 24, jerry me propuso matrimonio. 5 años después , es el momento adecuado para que nos casemos oficialmente y no podríamos estar más emocionados.
