If you know me, then you know Nata. Though she is technically my aunt, we were raised like sisters, so we’ve been inseparable since birth. So inseparable that I got her to tag along on my first date with Jerry. So yes, she’s the original third-wheel! She has been my all, from travel buddy to drinking buddy, we’ve shared so many new, beautiful, and crazy experiences together as we’ve evolved into the women we’ve become. I know I can count on her to comfort me and hear me out, as well as have her infectious laugh brighten my day now and forever.

Not enough words can express my love and respect I have for my big bro Oscar. In a way he is my life coach, ever since I was a kid I tried to emulate his every way. From being a jokester all the time to just being a warmhearted positive person. This man has set good examples throughout my life and those are lessons that I’ll never forget. It is crazy to see his journey from being a big brother looking out for his little bro to now a wonderful father. He's everything I hope to be in the near future.

Though growing up we would always see each other at church, we were always intimidated by one another. It wasn’t until freshman year, when we had class together, that we finally spoke and our friendship began. (Fun Fact: We used to write each other letters in a notebook, & I still have one as a memento.) I cherish all the memories we have, from going to ‘bailes’ in San Jose, to our BFFs trip to Miami. Though you’ll more than likely hear us call each other “lover,” Daniela has really grown to be my family who I love so much.

One of the fewest to come out of High School and still remain best of friends. We have known each other since 5th grade but our real friendship didn't start until late High School. He went from just a dude I know to a brother from another mother. Stefano is a guy you'd want by your side for anything. From having a good time at any event we attend to long night deep talks while pounding down beers and Hennessy. This man overall is just one of the greatest human beings I've had the honor growing up with.
Blanca Soza

I thank Daniela for introducing me to this amazingly beautiful soul back in high school. Though Blanca is the more “chill” one of our little group, she was the one I shared my first club experience with. She easily cracks me up or lifts my spirit with a video of her beautiful daughter, Tatiana. And after my grandpa passed, my family participated in a 5k in his memory, and Blanca filled my heart with warmth when she joined us. She has always been such a genuine and loving being, who I am blessed to have in my life.

This guy I have also met in 5th Grade. Not by having class together but just by playing football during recess. We have been friends ever since but our friendship grew deeper when we played high school football together and thats when he became my brother. As we ascended into adulthood we kept in touch no matter what. From late night rides around the city and just talking about life to 3 A.M. basketball and Call of Duty Zombies sessions. Josh is one of the most lighthearted person I've met in my life. I'll go to war with this man any day.

Noelia is another blessing Daniela introduced me to back in high school. Her vibrant energy has resonated with me since we’ve met. Since high school, she’s been one of the best dancers I know (keep an eye out for her on the dance floor). But if you know me, you know I can be quite particular and love to plan, plan, plan! Welp, thankfully Noelia shares the same love in planning like I do, and has been a big part in why I plan the way I do. Though her planning pointers come in handy, Noelia's kind words of advice never fail to comfort me.

I think back to the day when Elizabeth introduced Oscar to me and I didn't think much only that I wanted to dog him in basketball. As years went by I've gotten to discover who Big O is and he is just a swell guy with a great personality that any human being would love and welcome. From going to bars around the city to creating memories at places like Disneyland, Las Vegas, and Puerto Rico. Oscar is a guy with nothing but positive vibes and that is what stood out to me about this man. I am glad to call him one of my best of friends.

Elsa is the aunt who I could share it all to; who has helped and guided me as I grew up. Through the countless sleepovers she taught and comforted me throughout the many phases of my life. From sharing scary stories under the covers, to listening to me vent about my teenage problems. Time after time she has encouraged me to better myself, and has continuously been the one to give me the tough love I needed to get that extra push in the right direction. I’m beyond grateful for her continuous support and presence as I’ve grown.

It is crazy for me to see how much Pedro has changed and grown up throughout the years. From a kid that was shorter than Elizabeth to now a grown ass man with his priorities straight. I've gotten to know Pedro as years went by and he is one of the most chill and calm dudes with a sense of humor that is beyond hysterical. From family parties to late night small gatherings he'll always be that person to light up the room with his joyous attitude. I'll be glad to call this man my brother-in-law.

I met Shardae when I worked with Wells Fargo and had transferred to the Haight branch. As we got to know each other, she became my work BFF, so when she moved back to LA I was saddened I wasn't going to see her everyday. Though she can't third wheel mine and Jerry's post-work dinner dates anymore, we still enjoy when she links up with us when we go to Disney or our 3 hour FaceTime calls to catch up. Shardae is one of my biggest cheerleaders who continues to remind me of my potential, which has made me adore her so much!

It is always easy to connect with someone that shares the same interest and hobbies as you. JJ is one of those guys who I connected with almost immediately. From talking about video games and sports to partying like animals; JJ is just overall a delightful and comical guy that is impossible to dislike. He can befriend just about anybody and thats the vibe I like in a person. He is hands down the best person to have by your side; whether its at Disneyland on every ride or on your wedding day as your groomsman.

I met Annie my freshman year at SF State, for which I was able enjoy many of the wonderful college experiences with her, like the fun nights out where she ended up comforting me as I drunkenly cry. Though she moved to New York, it’s always the best when we see each other. We’ve basked in the beauty of Puerto Rico (and the best sliders EVER) twice... and not to mention had an unforgettable night when Natalie & I visited New York. Annie’s sweet and bubbly energy never fails to put you in a good mood.

Erick is one of those guys that can be connected with easily. He’s always been an outgoing guy with a friendly personality that can make the friendship feel like it has been going on for years. We’ve enjoyed numerous nights out, like at McTeague’s or Cigar bar, and even had the pleasure of appreciating the beauty of Puerto Rico. I still reminisce about the Halloween party you accompanied Elizabeth and I on, the night that an everlasting friendship blossomed.

Bhumi and I got hired a week apart when we started at Wells Fargo. She made going to work fun with the constant joking around and pranking. As we shifted careers are bond continue. She’s always been one to take care of her people which is probably why she’s an amazing host. She never fails to continuously check in and show her love. I cherish the many dinners she’s made and the numerous times we’ve ended up on her rooftop with a good drink to enjoy and release our stress. I’m so thankful for all that she’s done and continues to do.

When you need a guy to turn things up at a party then Lance is your guy. He can be anyone’s hype man as if he’s been knowing you for a long time. We’ve gotten to know each other more as days on the dock team went on and we’d turn up to the same music while busting our ass. It’s only been a few years of knowing this man and he’s already considered as one of my close friends. If I want a party to turn up to another level then I know who to call. Lance has had my back for a few years and I know he’ll be there for years to come.

While at SF State, Annie introduced our group to her best friend, Isis. She has been such a genuine and humble person since the day I had met her. Isis has always made the effort to come out, even for the last minute plans. Through the years we’ve bonded and gotten to know and love one another from the many dinners, Friendsgivings, and nights out. She’s become a very special friend of mine, my Tits McGee! I look forward to continue to be blessed with her vivacious & warm-hearted presence.

Gel has always been a good spirited person with a good heart. Having someone like that as your friend is always good to have around. At first she was just a coworker at my first job at Kids Foot Locker but then we started hanging out at concerts and bars and even taking the same classes at CCSF. She then left to L.A. to pursue her college degree (CONGRATS ON GRADUATING). Despite not being able to talk to each other as much we still connected as if we did not skip a beat. She’s truly a good soul that everyone needs in their lives.
