Tonna and Jared matched on Hinge just before her 24th birthday and the Christmas Holidays. Jared felt that he and Tonna connected quickly (bonding over the same radio jingles they both heard growing up) and he knew he didn’t have a moment to waste chatting with her on text, and made intentional plans of meeting for a first date, and then a second and third! Their first official date was at Lacheles burgers and Jared knew right away Tonna was special as he was early to the date, but she was already waiting inside! He knew right then she was confident and excited to meet him, and even more pretty than her photos. Jared and Tonna enjoyed delicious burgers and left for an arcade bar shortly after. Tonna obviously looked amazing and made it hard to focus on the games they played. The two played ski-ball and darts but don't remember who won as they were so caught up in getting to know each other. Tonna recalls Jared catching her eye immediately with his generous smile and blonde flow. She could not wait to meet for the first date, which went incredible! Tonna was left in high spirits, and dare I say she was crushing after seeing for herself Jared’s easy conversation, intentionality, youthful energy, and handsome face. It was clear to her that Jared’s heart was the most visible and pure thing about him. Fast forward a few months and the final green flag she needed was to see how Jared did when Tonna took in a new puppy. Jared instantly became a dog dad alongside Tonna, and their family of 3 began! Tonna loves to adventure with Jared and Gertie, taking swims in rivers, hiking low and high, escaping into a wifi-less forest and planning a life with Jared. The rest really is history!
