Wedding Party

Michael

Best Man

Jerry was one of the first friends I met after moving to Virginia in middle school. I was far from where I wanted to be and hated the idea of starting over somewhere new, but Jerry made it easy to feel like I belonged and we quickly bonded over music, video games, and an absurd shared sense of humor. Despite me moving back to Tennessee after high school and a few years of being almost completely out of touch, we've reconnected and picked up our friendship right where we left off. I'm incredibly lucky to have Jerry as a friend, honored to be his best man, and couldn't be happier to witness him finding Jenny to spend his life with.

Patrick Pagans

Groomsman

Jerry and I first met in German class at Salem’s own Andrew Lewis Middle School! Kannst du das glauben? Until writing this, I hardly realized that was nearly twenty years ago now. Let’s say zwanzig Jahre instead so we don’t have to think about it. We were buds all throughout school after that, but once we reunited after attending separate colleges, Jerry became a big part of my life. We shared grief, laughs, walks, and talks. I have him to thank for introducing me into the friend group we share, including my own wife! There’s truly never a night we’re all talking together now that we don’t have to fight back tears from laughing with each other. I consider myself blessed to get to witness Jerry enter into this new stage in life with a wonderful woman who I know has made him very happy!

Ashley

Maid of Honor

I met Jenny through a mutual friend in 2017. At first, we did not even like each other, but life often surprises us in the best ways. Somewhere along the way, we became inseparable, and now I have the honor of standing here as her Maid of Honor. It shows how important it is to stay open because someone who challenges you today might turn out to be one of your closest friends tomorrow. We have shared so many unforgettable moments, and I am truly excited to celebrate this new chapter in her life.

YeHee

Bridesmaid

Jenny and I have been friends for as long as I can remember, since around 2011 when I first moved to Virginia. We’ve had our fair share of bickering, but even more laughter. From 8th grade gym class and orchestra, to high school, and even running into each other at GMU, I’ve been so thankful to watch Jenny grow into the amazing person she is today. I’m truly honored to stand by her as her bridesmaid on this special day. Jenny, I congratulate you with all my heart, and I hope our friendship lasts a lifetime. I love you!
