FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you please RSVP by January 6, 2026.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We kindly ask all guests to dress in elevated, formal attire. Tuxes, suits, gowns, dressy jumpsuits, and cocktail dresses are all welcome. Out of respect for the bride, please refrain from wearing white, cream, ivory, or any light neutral tones that could be mistaken for white. To help with color choices: - Our wedding colors are emerald green, gold, and black, and while you do not need to match our exact palette, we ask that you stay within a classic, elegant color scheme. - Black is always a perfect go-to option. - Deep, rich tones such as hunter green, forest green, emerald-adjacent hues, navy, burgundy, charcoal, or metallic accents are great choices. - Please avoid bright or bold “statement” colors (such as neon shades, hot pinks, bright yellows, etc.) to maintain the overall timeless look of the evening. (No Jeans or T-Shirts, including children)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors will open at 4:30 PM. We welcome you to take a seat anywhere on any side that is not reserved, symbolizing our coming together.

Question

Can we capture photos and videos?

Answer

During the ceremony, we have highly professional photographers and videographers dedicated to capturing every moment. To respect the importance of this occasion for both the bride and groom, the ceremony will be 100% unplugged. This means no phones, photos, or videos will be allowed during the ceremony (In the Chapel). We kindly ask that you silence your devices upon entering the Chapel. There will be ample opportunities to capture memories for the couple at other times.

Question

Can we share on social media?

Answer

Absolutely! Remember, the ceremony is unplugged, but everything else is free game for social media posts. Don't forget to tag us in your posts and use the hashtags #ToastToTownsend, #TheTownsends, and #TyingTheTownsends. Enjoy sharing your moments!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are welcome; however, all children must be accompanied by a parent or designated adult at all times during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Children are not permitted to roam, run, or be left unattended, including on the dance floor, as this is a formal event and not a play environment. If a child becomes restless or needs attention during the ceremony, we kindly ask that you step out briefly to avoid disruption. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe, respectful, and enjoyable celebration for everyone.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless approved by the bride and groom, unfortunately no we have to stay within our allotted guest count. Your invitation will list the number of guests we've accounted for. If we made a mistake or you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
