Things To Do

We are so excited to see you! Below are a few of our favorite spaces and places in RDU. If you're new to the Triangle area, all of the museums (with a few exceptions of special exhibits) are free admission! Jeri-lynn and Paul have spent many Saturdays strolling the hallways of the art and science museums.
Lynnwood Brewing Concern

Lynnwood Brewing Concern

1053 East Whitaker Mill Road, Raleigh, NC 27604
, (919) 424-7533

Of all of the breweries in the area, this one may be our favorite. They have a perfect outdoor seating area, and there are a couple of restaurants in the area to grab a bite.

The Raleigh Times Bar

The Raleigh Times Bar

14 East Hargett Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
, (919) 833-0999

This is one of our favorite date spots. You can't beat the fried pickles and homemade ranch!

Irregardless Cafe

Irregardless Cafe

901 West Morgan Street, Raleigh, NC 27603
, (919) 833-8898

Irregardless is one of our favorite restaurants, hand down. We've never had a bad anything here! If you're staying all weekend, we highly reccommend the brunch!

Brewery Bhavana

Brewery Bhavana

218 South Blount Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
, (919) 829-9998

Formerly one of our favorite Irish pubs (Tirnanog), Brewery Bhavana is a maker-inspired hub for craft beer, dim sum, books & flowers in a stylish space. Check out the women's bathroom - the wallpaper is amazing.

Lake Johnson Park

Lake Johnson Park

4601 Avent Ferry Road, Raleigh, NC 27606
, (919) 996-3141

There are SO many beautiful and free parks in the Triangle, which is one thing we love the most about it here. Lake Johnson is one of our favorites to walk Magic, and one summer, Jeri-lynn caught 13 fish right off the bridge!

North Carolina Museum of Art

North Carolina Museum of Art

2110 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC 27607
, (919) 839-6262

Check out the Rodin gardens out back. There's also a greenway that connects near Jeri-lynn's old bachelorette pad, with tons of art installations on the way!

North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences

North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences

11 West Jones Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
, (919) 707-9800

Free admission and right across the courtyard from the history museum.

North Carolina Museum of History

North Carolina Museum of History

5 East Edenton Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
, (919) 814-7000

Free admission and right across the courtyard from the science museum.

Hi-Wire Brewing - Durham

Hi-Wire Brewing - Durham

800 Taylor Street, Durham, NC 27701
, (919) 295-3700

One of the many breweries in the Triangle, Hi-Wire has some of the most mesmerizing murals in their massive indoor space. There are a ton of beers on tap, yard games, and a beautiful outdoor gathering area.

Boxcar Bar + Arcade

Boxcar Bar + Arcade

330 West Davie Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
, (919) 803-2796

One of our favorite spots, Boxcar Bar + Arcade is an NC based arcade bar concept in downtown Raleigh. One of our favorite memories is dressing like black and white movie stars and coming here on Halloween night!
