Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Leigh Maki and Jeremy Arth
Palm Springs became a destination back in the 1950's, during the glory days of Studio-Era Hollywood. Stars like Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball and Humphrey Bogart needed a place to get away, but were obligated to be on-call for the studios. Just a two-hour drive out of Hollywood, Palm Springs' warm weather and remote, desert locale fit the bill. The art deco architecture is still ubiquitous, and the old Hollywood charm is still evident in some of the out-of-the-way steak houses and cocktail bars that the Rat Pack and Hollywood A-listers used to frequent. Personally, we love Palm Springs because this little desert jewel is unlike anywhere else but, at the same time, still completely familiar and welcoming. We can't wait to share it with you!
