When is the RSVP deadline?

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is semi-formal, so think elevated but comfortable! Dress up a bit, but no need for black tie. Since our celebration will have both indoor and outdoor elements, we recommend dressing for comfort while keeping it classy. For Women: ✔ Cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, jumpsuits ✔ Dressy skirts with an elegant top ✔ Chic pantsuits ✖ Avoid overly casual outfits like jeans, sneakers, or T-shirts For Men: ✔ Dress pants with a button-down and blazer (tie optional) ✔ A suit or dressy slacks with a collared shirt ✔ Polished dress shoes or loafers ✖ No shorts, T-shirts, or flip-flops For Nonbinary: ✔ Same as above. Pro tip: Temperatures can change in the evening, so bring a light jacket or wrap if needed. And, of course, wear something you can dance in!

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. 🥂 We hope you enjoy a fun night out with us—book a sitter, get dressed up, and get ready to party! We appreciate your understanding.

Can I bring a date?

We’d love to celebrate with all our favorite people, but due to venue capacity and planning, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, you’ll see their name (or “+1”) when you RSVP. Thanks for understanding.

Where should I park?

Answer

The Valley Relics Museum offers ample free parking in a lot located in the front and back of the museum, accessible from Stagg Street. 🚗 (Please reference the image on the Schedule page.) There should be plenty of space, but if you prefer, rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are also a great option.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

November in Van Nuys is typically mild and pleasant! 🌞 The average high is around 73°F, while evenings can cool down to about 50°F. We’ll have both indoor and outdoor spaces, with heaters outside to keep things cozy. However, you may want to bring a light jacket or wrap for the evening. We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and update if needed—fingers crossed for perfect wedding weather!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding will have both indoor and outdoor elements. The main celebration will take place indoors, but there will also be outdoor spaces to enjoy. Since it's November in Van Nuys, we'll have four heaters outside to keep things cozy. Pro tip: Even with heaters, evenings can get chilly—so bring a light jacket or wrap just in case!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We’d love for you to be fully present during the ceremony, so we kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony—please keep phones and cameras tucked away. Our photographer will capture all the special moments, and we’ll share them with you afterward! For the reception, feel free to take and share photos! 📸 (We will have a code for sharing closer to the date) Pro tip: If you snap some great moments, we’d love for you to upload them so we can relive the night through your eyes!

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! The Valley Relics Museum is fully handicap accessible. ♿ The venue is all on one level, with no stairs required. There are two ADA-accessible, single-stall restrooms located on either side of the building. Parking includes accessible spaces near the entrance.
