Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! The official dress code for the wedding day is garden formal. Please take into consideration that the ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) and the reception will be held in a heated outdoor tent. Please wear whatever colour you are comfortable in other than white.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! Hart House has ample parking in front of the venue and cars can be left overnight if necessary.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those specifically listed on each invitation. If you have received a +1 it will be noted on your invite.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we unfortunately do not have the ability to accommodate them all on our big day. We hope that this is a nice opportunity to leave them at home and have a night to yourselves! Specific children that are from out of town will be listed on the invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is set to start promptly at 4 pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early to find the ceremony location and a seat. If you are running late, you may be asked to wait before entering the ceremony site as to not disrupt the procession.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors while the reception will be held inside a tent on the grounds of Hart House. The tent is equipt with side walls and heaters, however, please feel free to bring whatever you need to keep yourself warm.

Question

Is the wedding site accessible?

Answer

Hart House is accessible! Our wedding will be held in the gardens behind the restaurant. The Ceremony is held on grass next the tent and restaurant. There is a paved pathway through the back, a ramp to enter the tent, and an accessible bathroom.
