What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Black Tie Optional. For us, this means suits and ties for the gentlemen and floor length or midi dresses for the ladies. We can't wait to see everyone in their best evening wear! Note: We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white or casual attire such as sundresses, denim, khakis, or sneakers.

Is there a Hotel Room Block?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a hotel block under the name "Garcia-Day Wedding" at the Hyatt Regency Conroe Hotel. Friends, family, and the wedding party are staying here since this hotel has a fabulous bar and restaurant for the after party and evening gatherings. In addition, this hotel is only a 13 minute drive to our wedding venue, The Blue Magnolia. Please see the "Travel" tab for details.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we adore all the little ones in our lives, our celebration will be an adults-only occasion. Unless your invitation specifically notes otherwise, we kindly ask that you make childcare arrangements for the evening. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

The Blue Magnolia has plenty of complimentary parking space to accommodate all guests!

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We want to make sure everyone is taken care of and well fed on this special evening! If you have any dietary restrictions, please explain your restriction in detail on your online RSVP. If you already RSVPed and did not specify your restrictions, please reach out to Patrice Garcia at 832-335-9445 (Mother of the Bride). We will work with the caterer to assure you are accommodated!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Short answer - get ready to PARTY!!! Long answer - yes, there will be an open bar that consists of beer, wine, house-tapped cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Will we be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The entirety of the evening will be indoors, with the exception of having the option to venture outdoors onto the beautiful patio and grounds of The Blue Magnolia for cocktail hour.

Is there an after party?

The Hyatt Regency Conroe has a gorgeous bar for those who choose to keep the celebration going!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space and venue constraints, we are only able to accommodate guests or plus ones formally listed on your wedding invitation / those who appear when you go to RSVP on our website. We appreciate your understanding, and are so excited to celebrate with you!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Outside of the ceremony, yes! During the ceremony, to respect the sanctity of the event, we ask that all phones are silenced, put on do-not-disturb, and tucked away. We will be sure to post wedding photos on our social media and on our wedding website once we receive them from our photographer for anyone wishing to reminisce on the celebration!
