Answer

MEET AT MONTANA WHITEWATER IN GARDINER MONTANA AT 12:30pm TO CHECK IN!!!

Question

Is there a shuttle?

Answer

Yes! Here's the schedule: 3:00pm pick up at Emigrant (Old Saloon) 3:15pm pick up at Chico Hot Springs 3:30 pick up at Loch Leven Road 3:40 pick up at Pine Creek Lodge (if the bus is full at Pine Creek, it will go to the venue first and come back for you at Pine Creek) GOING HOME (and to the After Party!) 10:00pm depart Deep Creek Range for Pine Creek Lodge, then Loch Leven, then Chico Hot Springs, then Emigrant Old Saloon. There will also be two 10 passenger vans starting from 7:00pm available to drive guests to various locations throughout Paradise Valley (including Erik's Ranch). Their last run will depart Pine Creek Lodge at 1:00am on September 1.

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

Of course. At Pine Creek Lodge after the reception ends at Deep Creek Range! All are invited to continue the celebration!

Question

What is a "Cookie Table"?

Answer

An opportunity for tasty treats! A cookie table is a wedding tradition where in place of a wedding cake, a table with different cookies is presented to guests at the wedding reception. Cookies are generally prepared by family members and friends in advance of the reception. It is typically a tradition in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and in West Virginia (where the Martin clan hails from). You are invited and encouraged to participate in this delicious tradition by bringing a plate of cookies to contribute to the table!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Call it “Montana formal”! Still dressy, but with room for personal style and fun. We want you to be happy and comfortable! Slacks, nice jeans, clean Carhartts... ties are optional. Dresses, jumpsuits, and/or other fun interpretations of formality are welcome. Please do note that the venue is mostly grass and gravel, so unless you are a varsity level high heels wearer, you may want to consider a flatter option.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 15th.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Because of the intimate size of our venue, unfortunately we can not accommodate guests that weren’t invited. Contact us if your invited guest does not show up on your RSVP sign in!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We heart kids! We are hoping to provide some type of childcare during the reception so that everyone can enjoy the party! Check back on this site for more details about childcare as we get closer to the big day.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We sure do! In addition to the block of rooms that is blocked at Chico Hot Springs, there are a variety of other lodging options in the area, available for all budgets. Please check out our “Arriving in Paradise” tab on this site for more info.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have a food allergy, please let us know as soon as possible so we can communicate with our caterer.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking, on the side of the road, at the venue which will be the site of the ceremony and reception. Get ready for some Montana driving: the roads to the venue are dirt and gravel surfaces.

Question

What are my options for the wedding reception dinner?

Answer

All are tasty! Here are the options: --Herb crusted Montana raised beef tenderloin with port reduction, sweet potato gratin, and carrot anise mousse --Wild rice risotto with local Montana mushrooms, arugula puree, bok choy, grilled summer vegetables and rosemary honey --Kiddo meal: mac 'n' cheese with watermelon wedges

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Yes, or you need a friend who rented or owns a car. Or an acquaintance who can drive you in their rented or owned car. These are some big spaces out here in Montana; Uber/Lyft etc are not widely available!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yep! Click on the tab "Registry" on this website for a link to our honeymoon fund (yay!) as well as links to registries for plates and Amazon too. Thanks!
