BAPS Akshardham Temple | Gandhinagar
Swaminarayan Akshardham in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India is a large Hindu temple complex inspired by Yogiji Maharaj (1892–1971) the fourth spiritual successor of Swaminarayan, and created by Pramukh Swami Maharaj (1921–2016). The focal point of the complex is the Akshardham Mandir, which measures 108 feet high, 131 feet wide and 240 feet long and features 97 carved pillars, 17 domes, 8 balconies, 220 stone beams and 264 sculpted figures. The complex was built over 13 years and is a tribute to Swaminarayan and his life and teachings. The Akshardham located in the capital of Gujarat - Gandhinagar. Approximately 30 - 40 kilometers diameter distance from Ahmedabad.
Statue of Unity Road
The Statue of Unity is the world's tallest statue, with a height of 182 metres (597 feet),[3] located in the state of Gujarat, India. It depicts Indian statesman and independence activist Vallabhbhai Patel (1875–1950), who was the first deputy prime minister and home minister of independent India and an adherent of Mahatma Gandhi. Patel was highly respected for his leadership in uniting 562 princely states of India to form the single Union of India. The Statue of Unity is located 90 kms from Vadodara, 150 kms from Surat and 200 kms from Ahmedabad.
