It was summer 2021 when Jeny was visiting Ahmedabad to spend some time with her grandparents and relatives. While she was there in Ahmedabad her grandfather Dr. Anant Shukla shared information about Mahek and encouraged her to talk with him over the phone. Shy, cautious and somewhat anxious Jeny agreed to talk with Mahek after motivation from her uncle Biren Shukla and mom Hema Shukla. Their first phone call conversation on June 11, 2021 was obvious introductory conversation. However; their love story began from July 4, 2021 when they had first FaceTime call and saw each other. They continued FaceTime and Zoom meetings and developed the love, respect and trust for each other and able to enhance the bond. Sometime in November 2021 both Jeny and Mahek expressed their emotions and informed their parents about their desire to meet in-person ASAP. Fast tracking their story, Jeny and Mahek met first time in-person in March 2022 and then they spent more time together talking, laughing and enjoying Indian vegetarian food. They shopped in fancy malls in Ahmedabad and Vadodara, watched new Bollywood movies (“RRR” 1st movie watched) and enjoyed short city road trips on two wheelers. Soon they decided to take their love to reality and tie the knot! They expressed their willingness, love, respect and desire for each other to their parents and here we are to celebrate their special day!
