About Captiva

Captiva is a very small island in Southwest Florida that is known for it's white sandy beaches, shelling, fishing, and more! Captiva is accessible by car and is connected to Sanibel Island. You can get around Captiva by trolley, golf cart, car, or bike. South Seas is a very large resort on Captiva Island and this is where all of the wedding activities will be taking place.

Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW)

The Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) is the nearest, and most convenient, airport. Captiva Island is a 1-hour drive from the airport. Uber, Taxis and Shuttles from RSW to Captiva are available. ISLAND TAXI - islandtaxi.com Island Taxi will offer discounted rates to our guests. South Seas Island Resort

There are three options in our block ranging from $179-349 per night (plus taxes and a daily resort fee). The room block will be available until October 17th, 2018 or until our block is full. Please be sure to book directly with South Seas and mention the Jensen/Roussil wedding when making your reservation. To book online, click "View" below to make your reservation. Please note: You are not limited to the options in our room block. We tried to select rooms in a variety of sizes, locations and price points but we realize these accommodations may not suit everyone. Private Home Rentals

Private homes are available to rent on the property. The homes range in size from two- to nine-bedrooms. All homes have a 5-night minimum. Prices vary. Please email Cheryl Gregory at cgregory@southseas.com if you are interested in renting a private home. Please mention the Jensen/Roussil room block and receive 10% off your reservation.

Getting Around South Seas

SOUTH SEAS TROLLEYS Complimentary trolleys run continuously between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm, providing service between the South Village and North Pointe. BICYCLE RENTALS Rentals are available per night at check-in or daily rentals from Best Boats, South Village, and at Sunny Island Watersports (located at North Pointe). GOLF CART RENTALS Golf carts are available to rent from Yolo Watersports on Andy Rosse Lane. Call (239) 472-9656 or visit https://www.yolowatersports.com/ for more information.
