Sites: Jackson Square, French Market, St. Louis Cathedral, Old Ursuline's Convent Museum, World War II Museum. P.S: Commander's Palace does 25 cent martinis for lunch on Thursdays and Fridays. Magazine Street
If you're in the mood to shop where the locals do, check out Magazine Street. You will find a variety of local boutiques and restaurants down this walkable street. Hemline, Lucy Rose, Monomin, Stella Dallas, Free People to name a few shops.
