Travel options and suggestions are coming soon! There is a train (Amtrak) that stops in Camarillo but most will probably want to drive by car. We are working to book a block at the Sonesta Select Camarillo, and shuttle to/from the venue.

Airports

Burbank (BUR) is the closest airport to Camarillo, CA (44 miles). LAX will have more flight options and is 52 miles away. From LAX if you choose not to rent a car, you can book the Santa Barbara Airbus, which drops off at the Amtrak station. 1 person, one way = $45.

Train

Pacific Surfliner

If you prefer not to drive and you're on the route for the Pacific Surfliner, this can be a relaxing option to get to Camarillo. The Amtrak station is 2.5 miles from the Sonesta Select Camarillo and 4 miles from the wedding venue.

Shuttle

Shuttle to & from Sonesta Select and the wedding venue

June 14, 2025 3:30 pm - 10:30 pm

A shuttle will be running between the Sonesta Select hotel and the wedding venue; it is approximately a 10 min drive (one way). The first shuttle will leave promptly at 3:30 pm and the second shuttle at 4:00 pm. The ceremony starts at 4:30 pm! The return shuttle will make loops from the venue to the Sonesta Select / Slate (after party location). Sonesta and Slate share a parking lot. For those that want to drive there is plenty of parking at the venue. The venue is located down a short dirt road; please drive slowly. Carpooling is encouraged. Cars can be left at the venue but must be picked up by 10AM the next morning.
