Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Black tie optional. What does that mean? That means we would love to see our friends and family in their best attire. Our wedding does take place in Mexico so we would love to see you all in colorful dresses, linen suits, a tux you get the vibe. See above photo for ideas!

Question

When should I arrive to Merida?

Answer

We recommend arriving in Merida on the morning of February 4th, though you're welcome to arrive earlier and explore (see our things to do tab). Our wedding is on February 6th but we're looking forward to seeing you at the welcome celebration the Thursday before (Feb 4th), where you'll have a chance to mingle and get to know our friends and family before the main event.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we adore children, we've designed our wedding as an adults-only celebration to give parents a special opportunity to relax and enjoy a night of uninterrupted fun. Children are not invited unless specifically noted otherwise ❤️

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We love love, however we are only giving you a +1 if we know your partner- the invitation will have their name as well. We would love to fill our special day with close friends and family so we want to keep it small. Thanks for understanding!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have a food allergy, we want to ensure your safety and comfort during our celebration. Please inform us in advance of any serious medical dietary restrictions, and we'll work closely with our catering team to accommodate your needs. Your health and enjoyment are important to us.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Absolutely! Check out the accommodations section of our website! Our planner worked hard to curate a list for all of our guests.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes- We are holding a welcome party the Thursday before our wedding (Feb 4 2027) in hopes that you can mingle with everyone we love! Check out the 'Schedule' part of our website for more information. Drinks and snacks will be provided!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We appreciate your willingness to travel all the way here for our big day so we are providing a shuttle that will be taking friends and family back to downtown Merida. Enjoy our open bar!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There sure is! We recommend using our transportation that we are providing as well as uber. However, if you would like to drive we do have free secure parking inside the gates and can provide you with more information- just let us know!
