Jon and Jenny met on Bumble in 2023 and almost immediately tried to plan a date. Jenny gave Jon exactly one hour on a Saturday before dinner plans with friends. Jon arrived at the bar 15 minutes early—and when Jenny walked in, he was the only one there, shirt halfway unbuttoned (very on brand). They played games, shared a drink, and said their goodbyes after an hour… but neither could stop thinking about the other. A second date was planned for the very next day, and they’ve pretty much been inseparable ever since. That summer was full of dates on Jon’s boat, road trips, couple work outs, lots of laughs, and getting to know each other’s friends and family. A pivotal moment came at the wedding of their dear friends Paul and Alanna. Between all the love and espresso martinis, Jon spent the weekend telling every mom he met that he was going to marry Jenny, watching her dance her heart out and sing along to every song. When you hang out every day, you really get to know each other—but Jenny wasn’t quite ready to move in together yet. So Jon did the next best thing and moved into her building… just down the hallway, until she was ready. They spent another year growing together, learning who was better at interior design,traveling, visiting each other’s hometowns, and deepening their relationships with each other’s friends and families. RPL became their first home together, and soon after came the light of their lives: Miss Sadie girl. On September 13, 2025, Jon and Jenny were supposed to go on a double date with friends Alex and Lena—after a dog playdate at the park, of course. When they arrived, Alex and Lena were nowhere to be found. Instead, with the help of friends Kendra and Lou, Jon had planned a beautiful surprise proposal. He got down on one knee, and what he said will forever remain a mystery—because they both blacked out, cried, laughed, and Jenny said yes. Now they’re deep in wedding planning and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you in Mexico on February 6, 2027!
