Fort De Soto Park
The largest park within the Pinellas County Park System, Fort De Soto park consists of 1,136 acres made up of five interconnected islands (keys). Whether you like to just soak up some sun and listen to music (like Jenny) or are more 'outdoorsy' and prefer to go kayaking, biking, hiking or fishing (like Jesse) - there is something for everyone at Fort De Soto! TOLLS: Please note that there are two tolls to get to Fort De Soto. One to enter Tierra Verde, and a second to enter the Park. The first can be paid via Sunpass or cash, the second can only be paid via cash or debit card. (Please be sure to inquire about tolls with your Rental Car agency if renting a car for the weekend.) John's Pass Village & Boardwalk
1100 ft Boardwalk with Food & Drinks, Ice Cream Parlors, Shopping, and Fun on the Water (Fishing Charters, Booze Cruises, Jetski Rentals, Paddleboards)! If you're lucky, you'll spot some dolphins, see the Pirate Ship passing and hear live music at The Hut! Madeira Beach is across the street! St. Pete Beach
Have a few hours open? Grab a towel, a beach chair and some SPF and hit the beach! We always recommend sleeping in and staying until the sun goes down. St. Pete Beach is known as 'The Sunset Capital of Florida'.
